I am not science savy at all but we got this for my 7 year old daughter for her birthday and after learning how to use it (since it's been 20 years since high school) I forgot how cool they are seeing the germs up close. The size is perfect for her and it doesn't take up a lot of room sorting it when it's not in use. Setting up the microscope was simple, learning how to focus it took some time and patience from my daughter who is still learning to go slow and just adjust it slowly. I love that we got this and she had one at home. We have looked at dirt, rollie-pollies, and all kinds of food. Being so affordable makes getting the kids off the tablets and getting involved in hands on activities.

Amazing product and amazing quality. Very easy to assemble and easy to start exploring the tiny things that we never ever have seen and thought of. My kids are also too much curious when i ordered this and when it arrives, my kids ask me to start with water and they got amazed exploring such things. This is all because or speedy delivery and the best quality of this product. Even also we can take photos by attaching our mobile phone.

Works great! Came with pre set slides, and blanks. My one complaint is the blank slides didn't come with slip covers. Has worked perfect for showing things in puddle water etc for our kids.

We purchased this microscope for the kids for Christmas and they are having a great time looking at things under the microscope. The kit came with some pre-prepared slides so they were able to get into the action right away. The microscope is easy to use and comes with some nice features including different lights from various angles, an adjustable diaphragm to further control the light, and a set of different magnification turrets. The previous microscope the kids had was a plastic version that didn't have many features which made looking at things a lot more difficult. The kids were able to the sample slides and then started finding things around the house (their hair, leaves, sand, etc) to investigate under magnification. The color instruction booklet that came with the microscope made learning about the device a pleasurable and engaging experience. The phone holder didn't come with any instructions and took some trial and error to figure out. Through the phone camera, it kind of works but the real magic is when seeing it with their own eyes. Overall, we are happy with the purchase and hope to get many hours of science fun from this inexpensive microscope.

This literally gives you as good of an image as any scope I have ever used, even in a laboratory environment. I'm not saying it's super commercial quality, but it is very close. It's close enough to be used in any environment, including school, home, and light commercial use. I'm amazed at how many things it came with. I even took a couple of pictures with it. One of them is of ocean water, and you can clearly see the plankton in my picture. That's at 1,200X. Also, they provide slides, and I am providing you a picture of that from my phone. Look at that!

My family absolutely loves this microscope! They find anything and everything to look at and they are older. The magnification range of 100X to 2000X is impressive, allowing us to explore the microscopic world in stunning detail. The included slides set is perfect for beginners, and the phone adapter makes sharing our discoveries a breeze. It's user-friendly and well-constructed, making it suitable for both kids and adults. I bought this microscope so I could see tiny bugs (e.g., ear mites in my cats), pollen, and spores (to better identify mushrooms), etc. Works beautifully. This microscope comes with everything you need and nothing you don't need: a pocket-sized slide box, a larger box with slides, 10 sample slides, plus the two lenses to multiply the objective lens' power. The top and bottom lights are adjustable for brightness, and the platform adjustment is smooth. It's light enough for kids to handle, but seems sturdy enough not to break the first time someone tips it over. Just imagine what a kid playing with this thing could learn!
