Love the concept , but will not work on light line . I purchased mainly for ice fishing . And the line used for that is 2 # & up to 8 # it ( whatever ) you are to lock your line in for this mechanism . Did not catch the fishing line !! Soooo disappointed that they didn’t work for the intended purpose ! Maybe will try on open water poles ,

First off the counter is in meters it states that it's measured in feet. Unless it' me the counter is completely upside down the eyes on a pole are supposed to be facing down so let's turn my pole completely upside down Wrong!.Don't buy GARBAGE!!!. SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER!.
