This beef jerky gun kit is nice quality, well made, and easy to use. My husband wanted to start making his own jerky since it's ridiculously overpriced at the store. This isn't just limited to jerky but can be used to make beef, pork, or chicken sausages. It's easy to use, fast, and easy to clean with the included cleaning brushes.

The sausage gun works, but upon opening the package I was immediately suspicious of the metal used in the trigger section. It just seemed cheap and rough.I read the instructions to determine the best cleaning method, but they only addressed the use of the product, not how to wash it.I very much doubted that the item was dishwasher-safe - which makes sense; items like this usually aren’t. So, before use, I hand-washed it and let it air-dry. When I came back to use the gun for the first time, it was already developing rust and tarnish on the metal part that I initially thought was iffy.I did end up using it for making some ground beef jerky. It’s a bit difficult to use, and you have to really push on it at times, and sometimes you have to take the meat out and refill the gun.However, my biggest issue is the cheapness of the metal. This was only gently hand-washed once before use and it’s already rusting.

This is a great tool for my kitchen. It is not only a jerky gun, it is also a great sausage gun. I love using it to make my beef, pork or chicken sausages. Working great and very simple. Easy to put meat in and large capacity. Also it is easy to clean too. Definitely very happy with this product.

This Jersey gun is manufactured with safety in mind. It is made of the highest quality, food-grade plastic. The plastic pieces were designed to be taken off the gun and easily cleaned of all meat debris. In today's world, that is such a high priority in my life to be safe. The jerky gun makes perfect looking jerky. You have four different nozzles to try. I love the design as it provides perfect control for the user to create the jersey they desire. Making jerky has never been so fun and so easy to cleanup the mess once the jersey is dehydrating.

Great ratcheting mechanism, and the attachments are the basic ones folks will want. I use this to make rabbit jerky, but it would definitely work for other types as well, including stuffing small sausage casings. Comes apart easily for cleaning, and is a good size for a basic jerky gun.

Jerky gun came well packaged, with gun, accessories, and instructions. Instructions were very well done - straight forward, without making it too detailed. I am actually keeping the box for storage when not in use.First reaction of the gun, - seems well built, not too small or too big. When first looking at the gun, the trigger portion seemed too big to make it ergonomically comfortable. Attachments for the dispensing head are normal, although I was confused with the "flat double" attachment. I'm just not sure I would ever use that particular one, and have never seen one in any of the previous guns I have used.Actual usage of gun - loads about 1/4 of a pound of meat, good enough and a perfect trade off on not too much which makes it heavy to work dispensing, or too light making it necessary to load too many times. The trigger mechanism although originally seeming too large, while using it is in fact very comfortable and smooth. I used the flat dispensing tool, which is my normal preference, but I'm sure it would perform just as well with the other attachments.Once dispensing was complete, it did appear the plunger was not tight enough to the container, causing some of the meat to bypass into the barrel section. Not enough to have to deal with during the dispensing process, but enough to notice. This also did not affect the dispensing at allLastly the cleaning brushes are a nice touch, however the bigger one used to clean the main tube was just a little too small, requiring more effort to clean rather than simply running it in and out of the tube.All in all a very nice product, that does the job nicely. Given the performance, I would buy this item again, and would recommend it to others for purchase as well.
