This thing is the worst. I have only used it 5 times and on the 5th time it just stopped working. It was delivered on Dec 31, 2024 and today is Feb 6, 2025. I can't even return it. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

This mini waffle maker is perfect for my morning chaffles (a keto waffle made with an egg and shredded cheese).I have been making them for a few years using my Dash single mini waffle maker. While it works well, the Proctor Silex double waffle maker works better. I like cooking two at a time, and I like the lights on top showing when the cooker is heated and ready. In particular, this cooker is great for chaffles because most of the weight of the Proctor Silex cooker in in the top half. This adds weight on the chaffle as it's cooking.... keeping it more flattened. It also seems to cook crispier this way. The top come out nicely browned.

This waffle maker is so easy to use and clean and makes perfect waffles. Bonus: it makes great egg patties, too! Whip an egg with a fork and pour onto iron and you have a perfect egg sammy party!

I don’t love this product but it make be “user error”. It takes longer than expected to heat up and to cook. Even when I use cooking spray, the food still sticks. I’ve tried waffles and chaffles in it. I’ve had waffle makers before that seemed to work better.

I bought this to make chaffles, but I will make waffles in it, as well. It heated right up and I poured my first batch of batter. 2 1/2 to 3 minutes later, my mini chaffles were ready and came right off the non-stick surface with ease. You do have to make sure you portion your batter correctly, so they don’t overflow. I love that I can make 2 chaffles at a time. It arrived in perfect condition and works great straight out of the box. I had read the mixed reviews, but mine came well packaged and brand new, as expected. That said, you should treat it with care. While I wouldn’t call it fragile, it needs to be handled correctly and carefully, like any electrical appliance. It could easily be broken otherwise. When I was finishing cooking, I just had to wipe down the machine for easy clean up. Carefully placed in my cupboard for next time! I love this waffle-maker!

Esta de buen tamaño para el lunch de los pequeños, calienta bastante, si es tal cual la descripcion dice, me falta encontrar un punto para que no queden tan doraditos, pero en si funciona muy bien.Si tuviera un regulador de temperatura seria un must have

There's a more popular brand of mini waffle irons and by most accounts, it's a good product. Call me old (school) -- and maybe unreasonable -- but I'm swayed by long-term success more than what's hot today. Proctor Silex is a brand that has been around since my childhood (which means that it is old (school), too). I figured that, if they have survived that long, they must be doing something right, so I rolled the figurative dice and bought this one. I was not disappointed.I bought this primarily to get in on the chaffle (low-carb waffles with cheese as a primary ingredient) craze. (What was that about old school? Okay...) This makes those --and traditional waffles -- extraordinarily well. Like my old-school large (GE) waffle iron, it takes a couple of minutes or so to warm up. I put the waffle/chaffle batter in, gently lower the lid, and watch the steam. After a minute or so, the steam will increase greatly in the cooking process. When it begins to subside, you know that it's nearly done. I let it cook a little longer (until the steaming almost stops) for a nicely browned finish if I am going to eat right away. Otherwise, I will remove the waffle sooner (while it is still a light golden color) and cool it on a cake rack for freezing. Those toast up beautifully, later. Color (i.e., cooking) is uniform across the waffles. Unlike my 40+ year-old big waffle iron, the top and bottom of the finished product are also uniformly browned. Since you put the batter on the bottom, you should expect the bottom to brown a little more than the too, but this iron seems to compensate; top snd bottom seem to finish evenly. This tickled me.Cleanup is a breeze. There's enough oil in the batters I've used that there's been no need to oil the iron. (Chaffle cheese and egg contain fat. Waffle batter contains oil and egg.). Between the oil content and the non-stick surface of the iron, (w/ch)affles release easily when done. Cleanup amounts to a wipedown with a half paper towel, which contributes to the compost bin.I'm tempted to say more, but there's not much more to say. It's a simple device that simply works -- beautifully. Highly recommended.
