I switched to a trombone with a larger bell and needed a new straight mute. This one was reasonably priced (not cheap - but none of the alternatives are cheap either). Fits well in the large bell (Olds S22) and has a nice sound.

I found this mute difficult to remove readily from my bass trombone due to the wide bottom. Unfortunately, my hound dog was able to crush the open end. She unzipped my mute bag and go it it out. 😥
