Love this printer. So cute and can print off labels n stickers. BUT....you need a VIP membership in order to get the fancy fonts,etc.

This little printer is so much fun and it’s very easy to use. It doesn’t use ink and prints in black & white only. It’s tiny (3.5” by 3.5”) and can fit in a pocket. I just got it and I’m already experimenting with what it can do. The Phomemo free app accompanies this printer. Love it!

My 10 year old had a hard time getting it up and running. Luckily, it was a gift for my 13 year old and she got it working in seconds.Stickers are all black and white and quite pixilated, but for a mini sticker printer it does the trick.

This little printer is cute for printing little notes or creating tiny list sheets. I do wish you were not limited by the stock items and designs though. There is no way to customize a design or upload your own design which does limit my use of this. It prints relatively fast and the app, while not the best, works fine with my Android phone.

This sticker printer works well within its limitations. Those limitations are:1) Prints only in black and white. This printer doesn’t have ink. Instead, it projects heat onto thermal paper, which then pulls the color off the bottom layer and brings it to the top layer. You can only get a single color since only one color can be on the bottom layer of the paper. In this case, that color is black. The white is simply the part of the paper that isn’t exposed to heat.That said, after the printing is done, you can use marker pens to add your own colors to the printed sticker. We used water-based marker pens, which worked well, but with a cavate: the ink can smudge when applying it, so you must be careful. After a few minutes, it dries and won’t smudge unless it gets wet. This becomes an issue if you intend to color these and stick them to a water bottle, but is less of an issue if the stickers are kept in a dry environment.2) Prints vector/clipart style images better than photographic/pictures. The best images are ones that don’t have a background or shading. Solid colors are best. While it can print shades, it tends to detract from the object in the picture. For instance, if you take a selfie and print it out, chances are it won’t look the best. However, if you take a hand-drawn illustration with solid and clearly defined colors (especially ones with outlines), chances are it will look fine.3) Prints on curled paper. Because this is a really small printer, it uses rolled-up paper. Once it comes out of the printer, the sticker has a significant curl. If you attach the sticker right away on a flat surface, this isn’t a problem. But if you want to save the sticker for future use, I recommend placing it inside a hardcover book and letting it sit for a day or two. That will help flatten it out.4) The sticker paper is thin. When I measured the sticker without the backing on, it didn’t even show a measurement on my caliper measuring tool. When measuring with the backing, it barely registers as 0.1 mm thick. This is not the card thickness you will find on premade stickers, such as popular ones of anime characters.### Conclusion ###I love the freedom to print our own stickers rather than being restricted to what’s sold by third parties. That alone makes this sticker printer a good value and useful device. Great for those who are creative and crafty. Perfect for personal and school projects for kids. The app was easy to set up and use. So long as the limitations mentioned above are not an issue for you, I recommend this Mini Printer-Inkless Sticker Printer by PokeLabel. Just keep in mind it only comes with a small sample of paper, so you will need to purchase more to do anything significant with it. PokeLabel claims you should only use their brand with the printer, too. So that’s something to consider when ordering.
