Product Description

More than 25 years ago, Princeton introduced its first synthetic sable brush to artists. These high-quality, short handle brushes have the best point and spring of all Princeton synthetics, making them perfect for watercolor painting. Our brushes are designed to drink gulps of water, paint supple strokes and retain their sharp point and crisp edge. The brush filament is made using varying diameters of synthetic sable fiber for terrific spring, enhanced color-holding capacity and a natural snap. This collection features an extensive range of shapes and sizes so you can paint everything from long, thin lines to intricate details to large areas with ease. Heritage artist brushes are more affordable than genuine sable and more durable and dependable than most synthetics hair brushes.

I like the Princeton Heritage series for watercolor. #6 is a nice size for many uses, good point, holds a good amount of water and is reasonably priced. My first #6 lasted 5 years before the point wasn't so pointed anymore.

I have just taken up watercolor painting. I am not a natural at it, but I wanted to try something new. I was looking for supplies that are good quality, but moderately priced. This fits the bill well. It is well made, but not too expensive. Holds water well and maintains it shape well.

Size 6 keeps its point. Synthetic Sable bristles feel really soft and hold a lot of paint! I highly recommend the Princeton Heritage Series of brushes

This is my first Heritage brush, and it's different from the other Princeton's I have. The bristles are softer. It starts out with a really nice point, but the point doesn't stay. It's fine for how I use it in the first use. Time will tell how it holds up. It washed well.

Quality product but a shame it came so poorly packaged. It was squashed in a small package & the nib, which is the most important part, was bent in the process.
