So far, it seems like a decent set of brushes. Got them two days ago to use with a new watercolor palette and haven't stopped painting since! I cleaned them as recommended on the package before using and haven't had any issues with loose bristles or loose crimp. Will update if that changes but as of now, I would say get them if you need a set of round brushes because you can't beat the price.

I only just started using these, but right away I noticed these were much better than the last set of cheap brushes I bought. The tips are sharper, hold more water, and have better flow. Time will tell how long they hold up, but if they last a little while I will probably buy more.

For $8 you can't go wrong! I've bought a TON of paint brushes to use on my woodworking projects over the years from Hobby Lobby, Michael's, etc., - these blow them away and aren't cheap pieces of garbage. When and if these guys wear out - I'll be buying more!

Good value for the price. I use these to paint miniatures and have bought them a few times now. They work great and can last a decent time if you take care of them.

I bought this set of brushes three weeks ago when I decided to start painting with watercolors. I've done a lot of painting since then, with different brushes, and I have put these away. Maybe they're better for acrylics or oils, but they're terrible for watercolors. First, they don't hold enough water. Second they're too "snappy" and not soft or flexible enough to paint anything well except straight lines. If you want to paint watercolors, you don't need a big set like this. Start with one good round brush, size 8, 10, or 12, which is specifically for watercolors. Add other brushes as you need them. Princeton makes good, relatively inexpensive watercolor brushes.

Wanted some watercolor painting brushes and saw these, they are work great. A few hairs were standing out/ frayed on some but I cut those, wasn't a big deal. Follow suzshakart on Instagram to see more paintings I made with these brushes.

These are the best cheap brushes I have used.I paint miniatures with acrylics and absolutely love having these around. The larger sizes are fantastic for based coats, washes etc, and still hold a nice point for pretty good detail work. These are my go to now for 90% of my brush work. I wait until final detail to get out the high end brushes.
