Bought as a replacement for the slate call I dropped on a road last year and shattered. Really happy with this call - sounds great and seems to carry sound more effectively than my previous call.

Great turkey slate call for the price. This is my first slate call I’ve bought. Sounds better than my expensive box call. Was able to bag 2 nice 10”+ bearded Toms this spring using this call. Highly recommend this call at price Amazon sells it for.

Being able to sound like different hens with a single call is very handy. Toms seem to shy away if they hear the same call, so I either carry multiple calls or just use this one. Great sound right from the package. I've had trouble with other calls in the past getting good sound. Never been a fan of the wooden striker as they have proven unreliable in the past. This one is great. Love the slate and the striker.
