I was hesitant to order primos as I’ve heard their products have been poorly made as of late. I needed a call for opening weekend and decided to pull the trigger on the ‘premium pot call’. It arrived in the packaging with shipping box un damaged and no signs of mishandling. When I opened the packaging the pot slid out and the slate just fell off in my hand. The glue on the inside was dried and poorly applied. The slate loosely fits in the pot and leaves a gap around the edges. Now I’m trying to see if I can find some gorilla glue or something fix it up, since there’s no time for a return. I will not be buying anymore primos calls for this very reason.

The call arrived in two days. It was in good condition. I have tried it out and it sounds good anywhere on the slate. I'm tagged out in SC and will have to wait to use it in the field.

Probably the nicest slate I own. The striker is better than any other one I've used and the slate produces the most realistic cluck I have ever been able to produce

Has a good sound to it. Bought it for my son in law that’s never been hunting until he married my daughter. Now he wants to hunt all the time. This is a good call for beginners.
