I used this to repair my door jamb where the screw holes are stripped out. I love that there are more screw holes and it is longer than the typical strike plate for added security.

Our electronic-keypad protected closet door stores a home security controller and other sensitive things. The closet door is slightly smaller than the frame so that there's slightly larger gap between the jam and the door than normal.I stuck two of this product to fill the gap. I used Dremel to remove the tabs of the bottom strike. It works very well.

Nice smooth chrome finish, also the screw mounting holes are offset from the standard holes so it is a great replacement for a damaged or stripped standard plate- also the 3 longer screws and larger plate area add security.

Ordered this for a garage side door. Some of the wood around the original strike plate had seen better days. This longer strike plate with long security screws worked perfectly. Took just a few minutes to install. I would definitely measure before ordering and make sure you drill pilot holes prior to putting the screws into the door jam.

My wood was cracking and unless I replace the wood this would be the cheapest fix I can find. Works great with 6 screw to secure latch strike. Feels very sturdy.

Thin, extremely thin and flexible chinesium “steel”. If you are serious about reinforcing your door frame, this is the $1 shop option.

Works well with doors that need more length in the latch area. We had to adjust the height of our door and found this very convenient as it allowed us to put new screw holes in different locations than the prior ones. The four screws also make the launch very secure
