The mailbox key lock set is constructed of diecast, brass, steel, and stamped steel materials. It features a spring steel hex securing nut. The steel components come finished in a corrosion-resistant zinc-plated finish. The cylinder face comes in a nickel-plated finish. The lock is easy to install with a few simple tools. This mailbox lock is constructed from die-cast. It features a nickel plated face, brass pins and a spring steel locking clip. These multi-cam assortments can eliminate stocking of individual locks.

After having my daughter's old lock was jimmy'd, I looked at local home improvement stores and online for a substantial replacement lock similar to the one on my mailbox. Most had thin head pieces and small screws holding the cam lock piece in place - the pieces that failed in the break-in. This S4139 model has a thicker, more substantial head, heavier cams, held in place with a substantial nut. Simple to install and smooth operation.
