Easy to install, just insert through the hole, put on the lock nut from behind with fingers, tighten with pliers, and it works. It even has four different estuchions just to be sure you have the right one for your mailbox. A phillips screwdriver allows changing to the correct one.

The locks center is popped put and it is a struggle to turn the key at all. It also doesn't turn in the region it's supposed to be turning.If I receive help on how to fix this, then obviously I'll ammend my review.

Living in a townhouse complex, I needed a new key for my mailbox as my only key was slightly bent and could break. I learned from the condo board that USPS no longer owns the mailboxes, so replacement keys and locks are our responsibility.This lock set caught my eye because it came with three keys. It arrived quickly and included all the advertised parts, though no instructions. Thankfully, changing a mailbox lock is straightforward, and online videos were helpful.Unfortunately, of the five latch tabs provided, none fit my mailbox, which was surprising since it's a common type. I ended up using the old latch, which worked, but it would have been nice if one of the included latches had fit.Overall, I’d recommend this lock set as a replacement, but I suggest checking your latch type and size beforehand to avoid compatibility issues.
