The Prime-Line S 4137 Diecast 5 Pin Hudson Keyway Mailbox Lock and Key Set makes it easy to secure your mail. It is designed for use with mailboxes manufactured by Jensen General and C-8723. The mailbox key set comes complete with a 5 pin mailbox lock, 1 cam, and 2 keys. These multi-cam assortments eliminate the need for individual locks. The mailbox key lock set is constructed of diecast, brass, steel, and stamped steel materials. It features a spring steel locking clip. The steel components come finished in a corrosion-resistant zinc-plated finish. The cylinder face comes in a zinc-plated finish. The lock is easy to install with only a few simple tools. This mailbox lock comes finished in a nickel plating. It features counter clockwise rotation and a left locked cam position. This lock replaces Jensen General gang boxes systems.

As a landlord and a property manager, I’ve been using this brand of mailbox lock for well over 10 years. It is quick and easy to install with little to no tools required. The locks do well in regards to the elements and very rarely do I have to spray them with WD-40.The price is on par if not better with locks that you would find at your local hardware store and being able to get these from Amazon is quicker and much more convenient.

Someone broke into my mailbox, I told the office and they told me they would fix it, but then the maintenance guy told me they had no intentions of fixing it. My mail kept getting stolen. I ordered this and fixed it myself. Worked perfectly and now my mail is secure again.

Locksmith was going to charge me a minimum of $50 to replace the mailbox lock at my corporate apartment and this $6.66 replacement took all of 5 minutes to install (have never replaced a mailbox lock before).Fits perfectly and works great!

barely useble-looks like it will last a month or two. Yet another example of outsourcing-the lock it is replacing is at least 15 years old-currently unavailable anywhere. I'm still searching.

Service was impeccable. The only negative is the needed oil to make the lock work smoothly. Would be nice to get 3 keys instead of 2.

My mailbox lock finally locked-up.....became useless. I spotted this after an Amazon search. on a whim. Inexpensive, simple to install...a very good replacement. (It did require the use of the pre-existing "latch") as those included, were not useful...(too short for the application)....oh, two keys were provided, another plus.
