The channel width of my frame is 4mm (or .155"). Seller says to use the same spline width as the channel width. The installation of the round .157" spline was super easy. Almost too easy. After I was done the screen seem to be holding. However, I was able to pull the screen free when I tug on a corner. While I had to tug fairly hard, I don't feel I tug as hard as the wind will blow. Anyway, ... time will tell. I'll give this a few weeks and then provide a follow up. I'm thinking about getting a thicker spline. [I tried to use a .321" flat spline, .. but couldn't get it to fit without damaging screen. Comments?]Follow up 10/6/24 - After 2 Hurricanes in OrlandoThe .155 diameter spline did NOT hold screen panels. I reinstalled the panels using a .188 diameter splien and so far, its worked great through 1 hurricane (Helena). So, bottom line I believe one should choose a spline width slightly bigger than the channel width. In my case, this was approximately .03".

Purchased for a sliding screen door. Was very easy to install. Much easier to push into place than ones previously purchased from big-box stores.

This spline is just a tiny bit thicker than my previous order. The spline is not smooth but ribbed which is a good thing, less of a chance to come out of the channel. I would buy again.

I purchased a 250 foot roll of spline for a large project. It was Prime-line, and was labeled as made in USA. I fell short by about 12 feet, and did not want another huge $22 roll when a $6 roll was more than enough. No need to have extra on hand. The product description was absolutely accurate. It was labeled by Amazon as "made in China", and since it was the same company (Prime-Line) I figured okay. Well, the Chinese product is slightly larger in diameter and much less elastic, despite being labeled as the same diameter and material. The installation of that last 12 feet was difficult because I had to stretch the spline to get it to fit. All in all not a problem, but worth nothing the difference.

Perfect. The one store in my area only sold one size and it was about a size down from this one. I am guessing that must be the usual size for windows. It worked great in our newer windows but not so much in our older ones. It was just a tiny bit too small and one of our screens kept falling out because if it. This one is the perfect fit. The quality is pretty much exactly what you would expect from screen spine. It works exactly as it should. The price is great too for what you get. I think the one in the store is little bit cheaper but it's not by much at all. I have no problems with this.
