The carriage bolts and nuts in this set are constructed of steel, and each come in a zinc-plated finish. The threading on these fasteners is 1/4 inch-20 teeth per inch (TPI), and they measure 1/4 inch diameter x 1-7/8 inch length. The carriage bolts feature a square section beneath their smooth, domed heads to help prevent spinning during tightening of bolts. These nuts and bolts are packaged for use with garage door hardware, but are useful with many other applications.

These are sold a replacement bolts for a wheelbarrow but they are only 1/4x20 most all wheelbarrows are 5/16x18.

What a joke, these bolts aren’t even long enough to go through the handle and wedge for the wheelbarrow. And I bought two handles and they send bolts for one side lol. Brilliant!

Worked great! Bamboo pergola is basically finished. Needed to stick the bamboo in flower pots for extra support because the poles are thin. These nuts and bolts 🔩 held everything together snuggly but that’s what nuts and bolts do. Just drilled a 1/4” hole with an electric drill, helped to drill a small hole first with a smaller bit then used a 1/4” bit. I needed 3 boxes of these nuts and bolts to do the job. I think I got the bamboo on Amazon too 🤔. Now all I need is my blow up pool (probably from Amazon as well) for a private, roofless tanning spot. Oh I got the curtains from Amazon too lol…jeez - hey - I’m happy!

Not sure how these were presented to me as the bolt solution for wheelbarrow handle replacement. Too small for any location where new hardware is required.
