Your cart is empty.Eye screws feature a closed loop on one end, which makes them useful for securing wiring, rope, cable, chain and etc. The other end features lag screw threading and must be installed into wood studs for maximum holding power. As with lag screws, holes should be pre-drilled. It is very important to choose the proper screw eye for your application based on load requirements.

These are not 1/4. They are actually 3/16.

The product was shipped quickly and packed well. However, they are advertised as 1/4" and they are actually 3/16" which makes a difference if weight is a consideration as it is with my needs.

Well, they were cheap and I can use them anyway, but they are NOT 1/4" which is what I really wanted. They are actually only 3/16" diameter. See the attached photo showing the package describing them as 1/4", the actual screw, and the calipers I have on the screw showing the measure at 3/16". Otherwise, box store grade at a fair price.
