The flange tube solder joint had a slow drip leak. Didn't catch it until 3 months after install. A more rigorus pressure test would have caught it. Made in USA doesn't mean everything is good!

I installed this 3 years ago. It has survived three winters and frequent use during non-freezing weather without a hint of a leak. The quarter-turn feature is awesome. It's proven itself durable and worth the price.

This Hose Wall Hydrant is so much better than those found at the big box hardware stores. Definitely better than the typical homeowner grade at the big boxes and well worth the extra cost

First Prier frost free faucet lasted 2 yrs. (Seat of valve corroded beyond burnishing). The Prier 10” frost free faucet I received this time from Big Frog Supply was green, with corrosion! Took the time to thoroughly clean surface and inside of faucet and greased before installing. Faucet must have been underwater, or in a very humid environment (warehouse) for a long time. Only time and frost will time, how long this will last.

Prier has gone above and beyond helping me fix my problem and sending replacements. Thanks Angie!!! I love this spigot. It actually has three safety features to protect your pipes. The first is obvious--the valve passes through the outside wall into the warm house which keeps it from freezing over the winter so you don't have to remember to drain the pipe in the fall for fear of your pipes bursting.The other safety feature is a valve under that cap on the top. If it does end up freezing for some reason, as the water expands due to ice, that cap has a valve that releases the pressure before your pipes burst. Kind of like a car that is meant to crumple to absorb the crash to save the passengers. Evidently, this valve prevents water from going from the hose back into your water supply in your home if you have your hose higher than your spigot.The only think you need to not do is keep the spigot open when the hose isn't being used, meaning if you have a spray nozzle on the end of your hose, you shouldn't keep the spigot open for long periods of time when the spray nozzle is closed. With the spigot under constant pressure for enough time, it can pop the pressure release valve off and it can leak. So try to turn the spigot off when you're done with it and release the pressure.This is probably something you need to be careful of with all anti-siphon frost-free spigots, but with the incredible tech support/customer service and their eagerness to replace them no matter whose fault it is, and their willingness to educate their customers on proper use, you really should go with these guys.

I bought this hose bib because I believe it's made in the good ole USA. I love putting our people to work vs Asia.The quarter turn is nice. Big handle is great and it's coated even better ,happy wife also. The volume is not. I posted a picture of the difference in diameter of the opening vs my old BK Mueller. I do not understand why they would do this when a person buys a 5/8 to 3/4 hose for more volume and this reduces the volume of water. It would even save the company money due to less material used in manufacturing. I will install this but I will not buy it again in the future unless they change the diameter of the opening. Take note PRIER. Buyers want pressure and volume.

Very good and effective, if installed correctly. Nice feature to be able to make a solder or threaded water supply connection. I prefer to make a threaded connection for future replacements if required. Critical to the installation; Must be set up with a downward angle toward the outlet side. The exterior flange has the correct angle just fit it up flush on the exterior wall and you are good. Fail to do this and all the last charge water won't drain and can freeze, often that will burst the valve wall tube. If you want the stem seal to last just shut it off easily and don't expect it to shut off instantly. What you see is the water in device draining out. It has to drain a little, cranking on it harder won't shut it off faster but it will ruin the shut off stem washer, then it will leak, freeze and fail. Like most valves, not people proof.
