I bought a portable dishwasher off fb marketplace and this piece was missing. I am dumbfounded how expensive this piece of metal but at least it was cheaper than on the whirlpool website. It fit correctly and no leaks, perfect replacement.

I recently received a gift of a new-to-me Whirlpool Portable Dishwasher. The best connector that local hardware stores could offer was a outdoors hose connector that kind-sorta works but leaks a small steady stream of hot water during the enter cycle. That obviously was not good for my water and electric bill and a waste of water too. When I received the OEM Whirlpool connector and installed it, the dishwasher immediately ran more smoothly and the leak stopped!!!

This portable dishwasher adapter arrived quickly and fits. $26 seems expensive but is a lot cheaper than a new dish washer.

The genuine product of course works just fine, but I was disappointed to see that Lowe's had the same thing for almost half the price. Minus 2 stars for bad value. Otherwise great.

Went to my local Sears store to get the Whirlpool version of this. Of course they did not have it in stock, but they could order it for me. The price would be $22 and I would have to pay shipping. I told them "no thanks" asked for the part number and came home and found it on Amazon. Order it, and had it in two days. Install was easy, fits perfect and now we have clean dishes!!

Finally, I can use my dishwasher again! Over a year ago, I realized I needed to replace the hoses, because the faucet attachment wouldn't stay on the faucet. It just popped back off when I put it on. I learned the little plastic/rubber things inside the thing were worn down. I looked and looked, and finally found a place to buy the replacement hoses. And, being a 67 year old widow, it took me a while to replace the hoses, but I did, all by myself. And, the dishwasher worked fine, and, the hoses stayed on the faucet but with a lot of water leakage. It's hard to believe that this little faucet adapter makes that much difference. Like some others who have left reviews, I went to my local Home Depot, and bought a few adapters I thought would work, but didn't. I really had my doubts when ordering this, but am so, so happy it works perfectly, and NO water leakage! What a relief!
