Safe your money. It is much smaller than stated. If it wasn’t so much trouble, I would send it back.

This is something I actually purchased. It is wonderful for my small bird cage. I do wish, however, that I could find the good old catcher, that fit completely under the cage and up the sides. It was held on by 4 small wires. A friend made me one for a project when I was teaching in daycare. One of my birds, finally destroyed it.

The seed catcher as a product is fine and works. My problem is with the way it is listed without details of the size. Just saying it is "small" is not good enough.I take partial blame because I should have tried to verify the size or something. However, Fat Happy Pets put "0.4 x 0.2 x 0.6 inches" in the product details. That is roughly 1/2" x 1/4" x 1/2", what does that mean? The box does have an "S" and there is no way to read it in the picture but in fine print next to the "S" it says "fits cage circumference 26"-52"". That explains why it's tight, my cage is 11" x 16" or 54" perimeter and the catcher only goes to 52".So, since nobody seems to want to give the details, here you go:Seed catcher #820 Small: Fits 26"-52" with 7" heightSeed catcher #821 Medium: Fits 42"-82" with 8" heightSeed catcher #822 Large: Fits 52"-100" with 13" heightAlso, I got a white and a blue one. I don't remember choosing a color so if color is important you might want to try to specify. (if it was an option I don't remember when purchasing but it does say "assorted colors".

I expected a guard that would cover the bottom and catch everything but with an open bottom there is nothing to catch it.

The seed catcher would work better if my bird would stop throwing his seeds out above the catcher! lol Other then that its wondeful
