Salad spinners are a great addition to any kitchen but their bulky size can be difficult to store. With the Progressive Collapsible Salad Spinner you can reclaim your cabinets. The innovative designed salad spinner folds down to just under 3, approximately 1/2 its original size, to easily fit just about anywhere. Plus the flat lid makes it possible to stack other items on top. Made of plastic.

I like that it saves room because it collapses.Seems good quality but I haven’t used it yet. It’s for the caravan.

I have enough kitchen gadgets and when I needed a salad spinner, I found this one that collapses for easier storage. It does take a little muscle to collapse and unfold it but then it works great. The spinner top is easy to use. Do NOT put this in the dishwasher though (bottom rack). The outside bowl will warp and then the lid doesn't fit well anymore. Other than that, it works great and I LOVE the collapsable feature for easy storage.

My old salad spinner (hard plastic) had cracked in way too many places.I looked at a lot of them, and this seemed like a really great product. First, it's made of a plastic that doesn't look like it will crack like my other one did. This is really good quality and I love that it can be used as a bowl as well.I really like this, and it's perfect me me because it's the perfect size for one big salad or a couple of smaller ones. I don't recommend this if you're making salad for a party or family. It's not going to be big enough. But if you need it for smaller amounts -- it's great. And it can be flattened for easier storage. Very well made.

Love the idea that it collapses to save space but the basket ends got warped in the dishwasher even though it is supposed to be dishwasher safe. The little rubber feet also came off. Maybe I had a bad one but I didn't want to buy another to find out. If it was handwashed it would be fine I'm sure. Great space saving product.

This was a great buy. My salad was dry after a quick spin. After use it was washed and folded and put away. Takes up a lot less space than previous salad spinners.

Purchased for use at my home and in my RV. Like the collapsible feature, easy to use, spins great and with little effort. Works great for other vegetables (i.e. cauliflower, broccoli, etc.) and fruits (i.e. grapes, cherries, etc). Fits easily in my cupboards and storage in the RV. Definitely a keeper

What a great product this collapsible SALAD SPINNER is. I've always wanted one but did not want to give up the space a traditional salad spinner takes up. But this was the answer!Received in perfect condition, and so glad to see a small box . It expands easily, has a beautiful outside bowl for serving your salads, spins easily and removes a lot of water.I recently started dehydrating veggies for long term storing. Washed and sliced up a bunch of green bell peppers. All the veggies have to get dried as much as possible to dehydrate. I got out my new collapsible spinner, it expanded easily, threw all the sliced, 8 bell peppers into the spinner, turned the handle about 10 times and was so surprised and glad to see, the outer bowl of the spinner was 1/2 filled with water. Now dehydrating my veggies takes less time, due to the amount of water this little, collapsible, salad spinner removes. It washes up easily, just did it by hand and dried it. It recollapses easily, stores all parts inside itself and the handle folds down into it.This little gadget was a great find & deal. Collapsed it all together, turned it sideways and slide it into my cabinet. It only took up about 4 inches wide of space it's perfect!

J'avais déjà une essoreuse à salade rétractable mais elle était vieille (10 ans peut être), la même. J'en étais satisfaite car elle m'a fait de l'usage. C'est très pratique et finalement assez solide.Oui, je recommande cette objet.

Update after a couple of years use: It still works and I still give it 5 stars, BUT, I have to take back a bit of what I wrote originally. The spinner isn't completely dishwasher safe. I put the inner basket on the bottom rack, by mistake, and it got a warp on one side, it's flat on the side that was facing down for about 3 inches. This has led to a couple of problems. First, a tear has started developing in the inner basket at the flattened part that is slowly getting worse as I collapse and un-collapse it. Second, because of the flattened side it doesn't spin quite as well as it once did...still spins if I position the basket just so, but doesn't do as good a job as it once did. I still think this spinner is fine in the dishwasher ON THE TOP SHELF, though. And everything else I wrote about it I still stand by.I've used this a dozen times in the last couple of months and it hasn't disappointed me once! This is a 3 in one device: 1. it's a salad spinner and it does a good job at that; 2. it's a colander for when a quick rinse is all you need; and 3. it's a bowl, just right to hold a salad for 2 or 3 people. To top it off, it really does collapse into a small easily stored disc, and every part of it is safe in the dishwasher...and gets clean even when collapsed! Now, I've had a more expensive, bigger salad spinner for years and it still works just fine, but that one is big, difficult to store and although you can put the bowl and colander into the dishwasher just try getting either into the top rack. This old baby only got used every month or two. It's much easier to pull the Progressive CSS-2 out of the cabinet, pop it open and use it. Now I have salads a couple of times a week rather than once or twice a month. Some folks say it's hard to open, close and use, but it hasn't been hard at all for me, nor any other member of the family. So far I've seen nothing that would stop the Progressive CSS-2 from being a Five Star buy. I'm even buying another as a gift. How well will it last? Heck! I don't know, but 2 months of pretty heavy use and it looks to be good as new. If it only lasts a year or two it will be worth the price and it might last a lot longer than that. Time will tell.
