I really wanted to like this. Sadly I don’t recommend it.Pros: I do like the stability of it, and that it’s stainless steel.Cons: for the main purpose of using it, at least for myself for drying washed lettuce leaves, it doesn’t work remotely as well as an old plastic one I have had from Shaper Image I've had since the late 90s. The only reason I stopped using that is I broke the top spinner part. And it’s plastic so I really wanted to change to stainless steel. The old salad spinner I had I would spin the letter and get enough water off at least the first two spins to be able to pour off and fill part of a glass. With this one, after spinning once or twice or three times, all I have are droplets in the bowl (whereas the other one had so much water off you could pour it out). I’ve had to use paper towels to soak up all the water left over after multiple spins.This may work for possibly fruits or something else, but as far as for lettuce it just does nothing. At least I have an extra stainless bowl now so it’s not a waste of money.
