But still worth the purchase. It is an interesting concept and we took one out and I believe it will work as designed. Live in Minnesota and do a lot of driving and you just never know.

If I'm ever caught in an ice storm while in my car or our house power goes out for days on end due to a winter storm (as happened to us in Texas in 2021), I'll be ready. These survival bags could come in handy. I like their size. They don't take up much room in our vehicles or our emergency go bags. They have high visibility, too.These emergency sleeping bags are much thinner than I thought they'd be from the photos in the Amazon listing. But, that's not necessarily a bad thing. They do reflect body heat effectively as described. Once unfolded, it's challenging to get the sleeping bags back into their bag/case.
