One or two drilled holes were missing for the wood pegs but that didn’t affect the structural integrity, overall very satisfied. Easy to put together by myself (small female), the hardest part was that the box was heavy so took some effort to get inside and unpack. Looks fantastic. The wood is thinner, but the trim makes it look thick. It’s not actually thick pieces of wood like that.

I needed a bookshelf that could fit in a limited space and this worked for that purpose. Once completely put together it was sturdy enough and we did not need to attach to the wall although if we had kids, we would have. We have put together countless pieces of furniture. This one was a nightmare. The instructions are worthless so it was hit and miss and several times we had to start over. One of the pieces split when we screwed it into place so we had to remove it and use wood glue to repair. Pieces were also easily nicked and one of the parts was missing. On a good note, it looks nice, holds what I need it to hold and the color is as advertised so matched the existing furniture.

I purchased two of these bookcases to store jeans, sweaters, and other clothing. They were easy to put together and fit just right into my closet giving me a lot more usable space to store/display items and quickly find them. These work well for their intended purpose. They look crisp and clean and seem quite sturdy. Kudos to the Amazon delivery person as the boxes were super heavy! Also, the price is super reasonable especially compared with other places like Ikea.

Looks nice and seems sturdy. The back panel is a step up from the the flimsier ones that are usually provided but would have been nicer if it had holes so you could make sure you were centered on the edge when positioning the nails. I did appreciate the upgraded hardware for the connector parts. Thought it would be easy to put together, and ultimately it was after I was able to wrap my head around the way they laid out instructions. Pretty much relied on experience and a picture of the item but it made sense in the end.

Discarding this tall box was harder than assembling this bookcase. I am a Senior lady, age 75, and purchased 2 bookcases. All parts are in packages. I used a screwdriver and a rubber mallet as tools. The mallet is soft to not mar the white wood side pieces as I added them to front. First bookcase took me 1 hr 20 minutes. Second one took 47 minutes to assemble. If you use a regular hammer place a towel on the front pieces to protect the wood when you assemble it. A regular hammer was used for nails to add the back panel. Lots of vertical space in this 48” tall bookcase. I chose this height to hang pictures above the bookcase in my home office. Love the white color!Purchased first one at $99 and second one at $108. Well worth the money and I needed. more vertical storage for m office. I highly recommend this company!

We discovered that during shipping the two end panels were damaged. After contacting the company, they sent two replacements. Very nice customer experience. My one complaint is the directions. I have put Ikea furniture together for years without issues. My son-in-law and I struggled with this unit. The directions definitely need rewritten and illustrated better. Perhaps stickers to indicate which is top and bottom. When we finally got them together, they were a lovely looking bookcase and very sturdy.

In the pic the backing looks like a solid piece. It is foldable particle board but is thicker than most others of its kind.Warning. The instructions are horrible but there really aren’t many pieces so it’s fairly easy to figure out anyways.Tip: be careful when hammering the rubber dowels that attach the pieces that cover the edges. I hit one too hard and it dented the top pieceConsidering price the product is decent.
