Update: The seller contacted me and offered me a full refund for the umbrella which did not work properly. I appreciate the company stands by their products. I plan to buy my next umbrella from them again.Original review: This seemed like a very nice umbrella. I got it to replace a 15 year old one that I keep in my car. Unfortunately the first time I attempted to use it I found that it does not stay open, so it is essentially useless.

For a winter trip to the UK (think rain and lots of wind) I needed a giant, extra-strong golf umbrella. But I WANTED an umbrella that could be the right compromise of protection and stability while still fitting in my small backpack. Having just returned from said windy-rainy trip, this model did an adequate job. It wasn’t perfect against the wind and did snap inside-out a few times, but it was solid and never felt like it would break apart. It was large enough to keep my upper body dry. The auto open/close feature isn’t 100% accurate—you still have to do some of that work for closing—but overall worked well.I also chose a turquoise color which meant my umbrella would never get mixed up with the many black ones around nor that I would forget it. I liked that.Recommend, and would buy again.
