These moth traps are a great way to keep the bugs away from your clothes, linen and your rugs. It's easy to use and very reasonably priced. I was able to set it up easily in my closet and in areas that I know moth larvae like to be in. A definite must have for your home.

This product in all honesty was a hard one to rate. When we first moved into our new home I noticed holes in several of our clothes that looked like they had been done by moths. That said many of our belongings lingered in a movers warehouse while we tried to get them to ship it as promised. Since then I have hung these moth traps in our closets and have seen neither moths captured nor holes appear in our clothing so the rating is purely based on the fact that I haven't seen any new holes appear in our clothing.

I used to be cool, and here I am writing reviews about moth repellents.Anyway, I store my sweaters in the attic in the summer. I don't know if I have moths, but I'm terrified my nice things are goign to look like swiss cheese when I pull them out again in the fall. But I'm also terrified of the moth ball scent. No one wants to smell like moth balls.I got these because they claimed not to smell (can confirm!). As a lot of the reviews mentioned, the instructions are tricky. Before putting my clothes in the attic, I folded these little babies and hung them around the attic. I didn't know if I had any moths, but it was worth a shot. I checked a few days later, and OMG. Full of moths. Like, stuck like fly paper. It was incredible. Gross, but incredible.I put all my stuff in the attic a few days later, and when pulled out my things this fall, I haven't found a single . And my clothes doesn't smell like moth balls. A win win, if you ask me.

Happy to find moth traps that work both in my closets and for the pantry moths that so persistently feast on my bird & squirrel seed/food before the outside critters even get a chance. Have had significant damage to wools in my closets, but have tried to keep moth traps freshly updated there. A more recent problem now has been having pantry moths and other get into the nut/seeds for outdoor feeders. I have tried freezing seed first and packing it in airtight containers, and even still, seemingly inevitably, my seed container is a flurry of moth dust, empty shells, and creepy crawly larvae :/ .Having set out the traps in one closet and in the laundry room (where the birdseed is stored), it will be interesting to see which one has the first success (it has been 8 days now and nothing yet). I also have lighted flying insect traps in the laundry, but those cards appear to fill up with flies & gnats only-no moths. I am giving three stars now for such a versatile and easy to assemble product that works for both moth types, and will update with additional stars dependent upon further success.

I have a macaw and a parrot and their seed always seems to get infested with moths. These moth traps by Repelure are the best moth traps that I’ve come across. I set one out near the bird seed and within a few days it is filled with moths. Gross for sure but at least it’s doing its job. There are 12 of these in the box and each trap is sealed in a foil bag. They fold into a triangle and have a hanging hook made in them. Just peel off the tape to expose the adhesive, fold up the trap, hang, and wait. For the price of about $25 for 12 traps I find this to be a great deal for something that works so well. Highly recommended. My Amazon rating system-Five stars-Great item. May have a minor flaw that does not detract from appearance or function.Four stars-Great item. Flaw or problem more noticeable. Or, price may be high for what it is.Three stars-Good item. Has a flaw/problem that requires more work than should be invested in a product. Two stars-May be a good item with work. Or, doesn’t work for me but may for someone else. One star-Nope. Doesn’t work for me and probably won’t for anyone else.

Last July I used these Repelure “premium” clothing moth traps to tackle a moth infestation in my closet. I didn’t really follow the instructions inside the package (wash the closet, wash your clothes in the hottest water allowed by the fabric, place traps and wait), which may be why it took until October (3 months) to eradicate the winged terrors. My process was to remove and wash all clothing from the closet and pack whatever I didn’t need into vacuum storage bags for a while. Since I couldn’t wash my shoes (and I did find moths in some of them), I packed any shoes I could temporarily live without into vacuum storage bags as well. Then I put all the filled storage bags back into the closet and placed three traps at different heights on opposite ends of the closet. I was hoping I wouldn’t have to wipe down the walls and remove the low pile carpet in the closet, but after catching moths in these traps for a few months following, I broke out a steam cleaner and washed every inch of the closet. I have since put fresh traps into the closet and haven’t had any new activity. It would seem the issue is resolved. It was a long drawn out headache to get rid of the buggars. Unfortunately, my other half now has moths in her closet, but luckily her closet is in a different room. So I got this 12 pack of traps to tackle all of our remaining clothing/coat closets. I like that these traps have no detectable odor to humans, and one of our cats, who likes to nap in the closets, hasn’t been deterred or troubled by them. I thought for sure one of the cats would get stuck in one because I put a trap on the floor. The traps are also super sticky so they require care when assembling. You don’t want them to stick to themselves. The traps seem a bit pricey, but at least I no longer have moths in my closet. My other half is hoping for the same result.
