They do the job fine. Missing a bit of quality in the actual tips, they could be milled better. They close fine and meet well, but one side is a tad larger than the other. Does not hurt functionality, just could be machined to a closer tolerance. But you are not paying for surgical quality. For the price, these are very good. Tips meet perfectly and the ratchet mechanism works much better than some of the other options on Amazon. I would purchase again.4 start rating as they are billed as being a higher quality than they actually are. But for general purpose uses they are fine.

I am skeptical that these are actually made in Germany, but quality of the instruments seems to be much better than what you would expect at this price level. The jaws of the forceps are precisely machined, the locks work very well, and the finish is quite nice. I don’t know how they will hold up over time, but I am very pleased right now.

This is holding up well. I use it to remove stubborn end caps on IV lines at work. Does the job. Have had it for about six months and use it a couple of times a month with no signs of wear and tear. My back up is available if this wears out, but no hints of that yet.

These forceps are much nicer and easier to use than most on the market. They lock into place easily, and then they unlock just as easily. They are lightweight and good quality.
