These are worth it. The bevel and the extra padding helped my foot far more than the cheaper brands. I love 3M's cheap pads for metatarsal injuries, but the ones they have for sesamoid pain don't cut it. I ended up stepping a week backward with my recovery by using those. These are pricey but they work!

I broke a sesamoid bone in my foot decades ago. Over the last decade it has become painful to put any pressure on it. I tried home remedies like cutting out a piece of an orthotic to give it more space. The pads work beautifully to keep the pressure off the bone. I should have found these years ago

Just the same felt padding that you could buy for cheaper in a roll, pre-cut for convenience. Does the job...What I didn't like at all is the glue, which leaves a lot of nasty residue, and looks closer to something suitable more for industrial than medical applications. I wouldn't recommend applying this to your skin on a daily basis.

Very sticky. Stays in place. Foam isn’t as thick as other brands.

These are great little pads, but the pictures should be redone for placement.First of all, very few people have a foot large enough to reflect the picture in the description. I have a women’s size 9 foot, leaning toward the wide side. The pad spans the entire width of my foot.Secondly, and most importantly, the positioning pictured only reflects pain relief for the fifth metatarsal (ball of the pinky toe). If you need relief for your first metatarsal (the ball of the big toe), the placement is opposite of what’s pictured.Essentially, Google “how to place a dancer pad” And look up any of the videos posted by an actual physical therapist.Quality wise, the pad is great. I don’t necessarily recommend putting it directly on your foot, just because they are extremely sticky. If you put it in a shoe, get some thin insoles and attach the pad to them so that you can remove them if you want.

Have been suffering with increasing discomfort in left toe area from sesamoiditis diagnosed >5 yrs ago. I have been a recreational runner for approx 8 years, but wearing max cush shoes (Hoka Bondi, and most recently Saucony Endorphin Speed 2s which have both been godsends, the latter overtaking HB as my faves) have surprisingly been able to keep routine of 3-5 5K casual loops around Prospect Park.Lately, however, more targeted ache/pain would catch me off guard even when simply walking a few steps in my apartment. For the first time, it began to cause enough discomfort to significantly interfere with my runs, but I did NOT want to give them up as they bring such joy... After watching some youtubes, I decided to try adding inserts to my running shoes that address sesamoid/metatarsal pain, and came upon these Mars Wellness Premium Dancers Pads for Ball of feet Pain - Sesamoiditis Pads andOh My God ... what a difference, what relief... I truly had low expectations and hopes since this condition is so insidious and finicky and difficult to address and heal.... I got the right footed pads for my left foot after reading reviews and deciding I didn't want the adhesive gooey part sticking to and gucking up my foot. Instead, I put the right pad adhesive side down in my running sock, or flat down on other shoes and alternately remove adhesive and stick to the inside sole of the shoe....I also read and am VERY THANKFUL TO the review written by Godspeed, who confirmed my own instincts gotten through trial and error, that the most effective way to reduce pain is to NOT put the pad RIGHT BENEATH the problem toe/area, but BENEATH IT, to raise it up, so that the toe, then has less pressure ON IT... I did NOT cut the pad as godspeed demonstrated, instead just pulled the pad down so that the the cutout for the big toe, was pulled down a bit below the ball of the foot, but still in line with the toe. I now use them in that manner within my running shoe SOCK, and adhered directly to the base of a few sandals and other shoes... I have experience such relief and improvement both when walking and certainly when running.Unfortunately, however, if I ever make the mistake to think I have healed the source of the problem and try walking barefoot, YIKES, still that erratic pain/pointed discomfort will catch me.... Until I figure out how to FIX THE CORE problem, THESE PADS ARE AHHHH- mazing. I may even try doubling them even they seem to flatten or wear out with longer term use, especially with the impact of running. I am VERY pleased, VERY surprised, and VERY thankful for these Mars Wellness Premium Dancers Pads for Ball of feet Pain - Sesamoiditis Pads.. Please do NOT EVER STOP MAKING THEM...
