These fit my hands without feeling bulky. I can feel the object I'm picking up. I can pick up a small bowl I melted something in with two fingers. I use them to put wood on the wood stove and when cooking over the fire or BBQ. Throw away all those other gloves. These are the only ones you need. In fact buy 2 pairs. If you use them as much as I do, you will need two pair.

I do a lot of bread baking and these gloves are great. I can move pans and Dutch ovens without any heat penetration. Mitts just don’t cut it for feel and dexterity, glad I finally found just what I wanted.

It's good and handle high heat. I can handle and hold hot devices safely (for short time. less than 10 seconds for moving stuff), but it gets cut and used easily and quickly. If it can stay longer would be appreciated

I used to burn my fingers all the time on the BBQ, around the smoker as well as the pizza oven - just because I was too proud to take out the oven mitts! Now, these look handsome on my hands, I look daring in my grilling and my hands retain their hair and their skin! I bought these to handle my microwave kiln which reaches a temperature of about 1400 degrees. No issues. I can easily handle the kiln safely.

I got the chance to use these heat resistant gloves after cooking on my griddle and after cooking I needed to clean the griddle. The gloves were excellent on while I was cleaning the hot surface and made the clean-up a breeze. I highly recommend these heat resistant gloves!

Until I got these gloves, I used to use oven mitts. And now I'm wondering why it took me so long to discover these beauties. They are amazingly heat resistant; you could probably dip them in molten lava and you wouldn't feel a thing. Ok, I'm exaggerating. But they do the job, they're super comfortable, and I'm never putting on mitts again.

These gloves work great on hot food handling. However, if the food item you're handling releases hot juices fresh off the grill and you have to cut it into many sections, the very hot juices will seep thru the glove and you'll feel it on your index finger and thumb. The hot juice will hurt you. A quick fix to prevent the juices from penetrating is to use a small strip of alluminum foil between the glove and the meat you're cutting. Hey, this works for me. And you'll still be able to grasp the hot off the grill meats.

This is the second pair of "BBQ Gloves" I have owned. As opposed to the previous brand I used these fit weird in the fingers. It is difficult to get your fingers in the holes because the fabric inside is loose from the outer material and tight by itself.

First thing is the fit. I am 6-7 and I wish I went for the smaller size.Heat resistance: These definitely work in and around barbecue ovens with 500+ Fahrenheit temperatures. You can hold the griddle, stoke the coals (not by hand), lift and hold heat reflectors and iron pans without a handle. At around 400 'F, I was able to hold my cast iron pan for about 30-40 seconds before switching hands. Once the glove is hot, it has some inertia cooling down.What you cannot use this for is handling liquids and touching fatty food.Overall a great tool that saves time when working hot items.
