Good quality. Works well for me. Uses SAE allen wrench to tighten the set screw on arbor.

Hi, the product is great, would be nice if it came with replacement bits so you don't have to throw the whole thing away. I understand that each bit has four sides, and you can use other bits for other tools, but.

This product saved me trips to the hardware store and about $400 already. And only had it 3 days. Anyone doing or considering home renovations, garbage disposals should have this in their job box. Don’t let others bad plumbing hurt your wallet. This product works like a dream I will suggest a 1/2” corded drill. I’m currently going though all the scrap pvc pipes from previous jobs and reclaiming all the pipes and fittings as well as the subpar plumbing in my house to clean the fitting after you just need 8-10 cups of bleach in about 3 gallons of water and let them soak until clean. Well worth the purchase.

This set was MUCH better quality than I expected. A trick to make it work better and easier to control is try it in a hammer drill. It keeps it from hanging up and cuts even better. We reset a toilet flange after installing new LVP flooring. This allowed us to cut out the old one and install new one and new height. I did NOT want to glue a smaller sleeve inside the old one and cause flushing problems later. This was great and easy to use

This is clearly a copy of the original REED Reamer kit even down to the Part numbers quoted but since I'm only a DIYer and only occasionally do plumbing, I thought this kit would do the job. I was using the 3" Reamer on a PVC sch 40 pipe fitting. It seemed to be working well if the speed was kept down. I was using a 1/2" chuck Black and Decker Drill with a torque handle. Occasionally the blade would bite in too deep and the torque on the drill caused a quick jerk but nothing so bad I could not control it. Suddenly as I was approaching the end of the ream, the blade bit and the attached pictures were the result. It looks like the shaft is cast so not the strongest. Luckily I had the kit so I borrowed the shaft from the 4" reamer to continue. The kit included a nice instruction manual with a parts list. Looking up the part number for the shaft 44524, what comes up, but the original REED shaft. It probably much better quality but it's also 1/4 of the price I paid for the whole kit. I would be happy if I could just get a replacement from the seller. I tried contacting the seller directly via the Amazon Message system, but it would only let me talk to an Amazon rep, because the Chat Bot is too stupid to allow me to message the seller about a replacement part.
