Positive
If two lines are visible and the test line is equal to or darker than the control line, one will probably ovulate in the next 24-48 hours. Make love over the next 2 days following the first positive test result to maximize your chances of becoming pregnant.
A positive result indicates the presence of a high amount of Luteinizing Hormone or LH surge.
Negative
Only one line appears in the control area or the test line is lighter than the control line. This means there is no LH surge.

What is LH surge?
Luteinizing Hormone (LH) is one of the hormones produced by the pituitary gland. It is secreted at very low levels throughout your menstrual cycle. Once a developing egg follicle reaches a certain size, Luteinizing Hormone secretion surges to high levels. This hormone surge is what triggers ovulation about 24 to 48 hours later.
Ovulation is the release of a mature egg from the ovary. It signals the beginning of your fertile period.
When to begin testing?
Determine the length of your menstrual cycle before test (The length of the cycle is the duration from your first menstrual bleeding day to the day before the next bleeding begins).
Please refer to the cycle chart to determine when you should start testing. If you do not know your cycle length, you may begin the test 11 days after your first period, since the average cycle length is 28 days.
Example: If your cycle length is normally 26 days, the chart indicates testing should begin on day 10.
Confirm pregnancy early and quickly
Pregmate pregnancy tests detect human pregnancy hormone in urine. This hormone is produced by the cells of the embryo that will later form the placenta.
If pregnancy hormone is present in your urine, you'll have a positive test result.
The average implantation time is 9 days past ovulation. It takes 2-3 days after implantation for the embryo to make enough hormone for a home pregnancy test to work. That means the majority of women will not get a positive until 11 days past ovulation.

I recently used Pregmate pregnancy tests and was thoroughly impressed! As someone who was eagerly trying to conceive, I wanted a test that would give me accurate and early results. Let me tell you, when I saw a faint positive within a minute I was SO happy. So I re tested with two other tests and they were negative. I tried one more pregmate test and was faint positive again, but worked out its due to indentation lines.Don’t recommend this brand at all

This is exactly what I needed to stay on track and consistent with my testing. Testing was a breeze, I didn't have to worry about running out, and they're very easy to read. The only thing I could think of that would help even more is a place to keep your test strips to compare. An adhesive sheet to attach the strips through the cycle would be helpful. I had to use tape for each strip and that was a nuisance.

I love the quantity in the package. Waaaaaay cheaper than going to the local drug store to get an ovulation or pregnancy test and just as accurate. Even the "fancy" test kits have the same sensitivity. In fact even my doctor's office offers the same accuracy for testing a urine sample.Because of how affordable these are I was able to test for 10 days in each cycle for a few months. My cycle was pretty reliable so if it weren't for these I wouldn't have known that I wasn't ovulating each month. Once I knew that I went off my low calorie diet and then I began to ovulate! We started using ovulation test strips after having an unsuccessful cycle. We got pregnant the very next cycle.These were easy to use, gave clear readings and an amazing product for the price. I confirmed our positive pregnancy test with a few different variations of the tests and can confirm the test strips are accurate!Highly recommend if you're like me and test daily. You get so many more tests for such a great value.

These worked great! Just as well as the more expensive tests. I used the LH strips every cycle for several cycles and always had very clear results when the LH surge was happening. When we finally got pregnant, the initial hcg test had only very faint lines (I almost missed it and thought they were just pre-existing imprints or something that I had missed before!). However, it became a little more obvious as it developed longer. I double checked with a more expensive early response test, and that was even tougher to read than these strips. As I rechecked over the following days, the lines got much darker. It had just been very early to check on the first one. In any case, I was very happy with this product and found them easy to use and easy to read. MUCH cheaper than the alternative and equally effective if not easier to use/read. My only compliant is that over the several cycles I used it, they changed the packaging so that how to read the results was no longer printed on each strip package. I had liked that that was on there before, in part because I always used it for comparison (just feels better to look at the pics when reading them each time) and also it made it easier to pick out the LH vs hcg strips from the box.

First and foremost, I love the price of this box. I also love that the box comes with ovulation and pregnancy testing. Both at home tests are really expensive. When opening up the box, I loved the packaging. It’s just fun. I am excited to start testing. On day eleven of my cycle, I can start testing. What I liked most about this box is that the instructions are also for people that do not know what their exact cycle length is just like me. I thought that was pretty cool. I’ll update this post after I start testing!

So far I am genuinely impressed with the PREGMATE LH & HCG test strips. Easy to use, fairly easy to read, and you truly cannot beat the price. Especially for someone like me who has been taking the HCG pregnancy test everyday since receiving them! The reason for this is because I truly don't know my cycle. My husband and I got pregnant with our first by surprise, so this is our first time "trying". I haven't had a normal period in YEARS, due to birth control and then pregnancy/breast feeding. So I am at the point where I don't know when my cycle begins. So far, the LH test lines (I've taken 4) are all lighter than the control line. The HCG tests, however, have all shown light faint lines, as you can see in my photo. (This is why I've taken them everyday, and also why I say they are "fairly" easy to read...Am I pregnant in early stages, or is this just the default of the strips after they've sat for about 10 mins? Don't know, but I'll update my review when I do! Highly suggest getting these, they keep me from guessing (for the most part-lol) about what's going on with my body at a price you really can't beat.
