I bought these for my granddaughter who is almost four. She loves to paint. I bought the Prang brand because I have used them myself and I think it's really important to get good quality art supplies for children so they can experience the full spectrum of their creativity. I wouldn't give a child cheap paper or chalky paints, or waxy, crumbly crayons. Those things are discouraging to work with. I'm not saying that I would buy a young child the most expensive items but there a many good student grade art supplies for children. The Prang watercolors are a fine student grade quality perfect for children or beginner adult.

I just started teaching myself how to paint, so I got some watercolors and watercolor pens and this palette was surprisingly pretty! When I first saw it I put off using it for a couple day’s because the colors didn’t look very vibrant or diversified at first. When I did try it out, I was absolutely stunned at how vibrant they were and how many colors were actually in there. Right now I’m painting little squares of each color to see how they really look and I absolutely love this palette. The colors are surprisingly bright and vibrant And beautiful when you use them! My only minor inconvenience with this palette is that it’s $7-something and it looks much like a cheap Crayola product. However, I know it isn’t crayola brqnd and considering how beautiful the colors are I’m not at all bitter or upset about the proulduct

Comparing to Crayola paints which can be watery, these are gel-like consistency which does not run and is super easy to apply! The included paint brush isn't great by any mean, but it's a minor issue. Overall, very easy to work with and the colors are vibrant!

These paints were great for my child’s school supplies. Her teacher recommended this as a good brand for watercolor painting. The case looks sturdy for frequent use and the paintbrush was pretty standard.

Our school has a preference on the supply list for Prang watercolors. I went ahead and paid a few extra dollars for the washable ones, since from experience I know that small children tend to paint anything. Items arrived exactly as ordered.

I bought these last year for the kids at school. I wasn't sure what they would be like. When they brought home their leftovers at the end of the year I sat and played with these and they are really nice paints. Vibrant colors, and not the chalky cakes, and the brush it came with is decent too.

These paints are the best-- they are bright and stay true to color. They dry quickly, don't over-dry (causing break up), and are our first choice in watercolors.

Worth the extra money--over crayola. The colors are much more brilliant and therefore, they last longer. My children's art teacher requires them because they are a better product.

Very good watercolors. The quality is surprisingly good for how little these watercolors cost. The brush isnt the greatest but will do for a kid's project. If your an adult using these, I recommend you buy another brush.
