When I got it I had reservations because it looked liked it was a returned idem . My granddaughter on had it a day and it broke. Didn’t even play well before it broke.

Item arrived unsecured in box, the mouthpiece is not securely attached, not very sturdy for little kids, and it requires a lot of pressure for little ones to be able to make it blow.

The saxophone is exactly what you'd expect -- it's a plastic toy, not intended for creating music anyone would actually enjoy. For that purpose, it functions just fine. It plays 8 notes (at intervals that are trying to form a scale in Western music norms but don't...quite...make it), and it can sound multiple notes at once (which is nice, although again, the intervals available offer more dissonance than harmony). The tone quality is not great (as you would expect), and it takes a reasonable amount of breath support (not challenging for an adult, but a very young child might have trouble). That being said, as a toy or prop just for having fun, it is very appealing. I purchased this is a prop for a road rally (the participants had to form a spontaneous jazz trio at one of the locations), and it turned out to be someone's favorite prop from the entire event (far left in the picture). It is a fun noisemaker, but it is a bit pricey for its capabilities.

Bought this for my toddler who loves instruments. He carries it around and tells everyone it doesn’t work. Because it doesn’t work. It takes adult lungs and coordination to blow hard enough and press the little buttons at the same time so that a squeak of a note can be heard. Haha! So, if you are looking for a prop that doesn’t need to make a great noise. This is great! If you want a kinda cheap plastic function instrument. Look elsewhere. Ps. We totally kept it. Due to previously stated ‘toddler who loves instruments’

It is hard to make a sound with it. Takes good lungs. I got it for my cousin who is mentally challenged he seems happy with it. He had a plastic one for years that finally broke. Like said it is hard to make a sound, I tried.
