The strobe works well. I can see it from 100ft away in clear water at night. The flashlight is OK at best. it will help you find your keys, but I would not use it for an underwater light. For the price, the strobe is worth it.

It seems to be well made and I keep it on my boat. It offers good utility and added safety. Just check the battery condition from time to time. The strobe will not have any safety benefit if the batteries are weak or dead.

I drive a log truck and I use this to attach to the end of the log at night so other can be aware of the danger of how long the logs stick away from the trailer 😳 times I used it it worked great

We had high hopes that this strobe light would work on our dive boat, however it came up short. We used it on our safety stop down line at 15ft to mark the boat location, and while it did flash the entire dive and was bright, it leaked and was full of salt water at the end of the dive.

I bought tis to replace an old strobe that has given up. It is more bulky than the old one so would not mount on my BC the same way. I have yet to test it in open water but I think it will be fine. It appears to be identical to the Beaver / Northern Diver models but a fraction of the price.

I used this light diving in Bonaire recently. It is easy to use (replacing batteries is really easy and nice) but I was disappointed by the weak beam. I was not comfortable using it to penetrate a wreck even a little.
