Tool worked great. The broken PVC came out fairly easily. I used the tool for broken 1.5" pvc pipe inside my pool. I properly wont use the tool again but worth it. I was quoted $300 for a pool repair.

40 year old tub drain was out in less than 5 minutes. Tool is very sturdy and easy to use. 1/2" extension made the job even easier.Highly recommend.

Very ingenious tool for those stubborn tub drains or other similarly sized drains that have not been touched for decades in some cases. Fits any 1/2" ratchet wrench or any impact wrench which is nice since it will take some effort/elbow grease to loosen up something that's been sitting for a decade or longer. It's made with teeth meant for grabbing soft metals but I imagine it will work on those "chrome plated plastic" drains as well if they are stuck.

I needed to get an old drain flange out where the inside of the flange was completely gone, so there was nothing to grip to unscrew it from the drain. This tool came with a 1/2" extension which I didn't need but is a nice bonus since a 1/2" ratchet probably would reach or turn once the tool is inserted in the flange. I pressed down firmly on the tool/ratchet assembly so the tool could bite into the metal of the flange and with some effort, I was able to get the old flange out and replace in less than an hour from start to finish. The tool survived the process, so I can use it again if needed.
