Both calipers I received arrived with chipped paint. They were sent from the factory this way as they are shipped in their own box and there’s nothing to cause the chips. Packaging was fine.

I recently installed the Power Stop Front S4299 Pair of High-Temp Red Powder Coated Calipers on my son's 1989 Chevy 1500 they look great when the wheels are off. :-DAppearance (5/5): The eye-catching high-temp red powder coating is a game-changer in terms of aesthetics. It adds a sporty and aggressive look to my vehicle. They're an easy way to give your ride a more customized and unique appearance.Performance (4/5): The improved braking performance is where these calipers shine. They provide better brake pedal feel and response, contributing to enhanced overall braking performance. I've noticed a significant reduction in brake fade during spirited driving and a more confident braking experience in various road conditions.Installation (4/5): The installation process was relatively straightforward, but it does require some mechanical know-how. If you're comfortable working on your vehicle, you should be able to handle it with the help of basic tools. However, if you're not experienced, it's advisable to seek professional assistance to ensure a proper installation.Durability (4/5): The high-temp red powder coating not only adds to the calipers' visual appeal but also offers protection against rust and corrosion. However, I've noticed that over time, the coating can show signs of wear in areas that come into direct contact with road debris. Regular maintenance and cleaning can help preserve their appearance.Value (4/5): The Power Stop S4299 calipers are reasonably priced, considering the performance enhancements they bring to your braking system. While they may not be the cheapest option on the market, they offer a good balance between cost and performance, making them a worthwhile investment for those seeking an upgrade. Conclusion: In summary, the Power Stop Front S4299 Pair of High-Temp Red Powder Coated Calipers are a great choice for those looking to enhance both the appearance and performance of their vehicle's braking system. They add a touch of style to your wheels while delivering improved braking performance. While they may require some DIY skills for installation, the results are well worth the effort. Just be mindful of regular maintenance to keep them looking their best. Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase and the transformation it brought to my vehicle.

Haven’t installed it yet but I’m sure it’s better than the stock original callipers still on my 95 k2500, if it ends up disappointing I’ll update this but they feel solid and look great. Will upload a picture when installed.

Easy install and fitike original and for only about $5 more than OE brand I got res powder coat. Slides still needed some synthetic brake grease but compared to regular and even the big name brand....these were fully complete and easy to install. Had to buy these since their pad and rotors kit failed to come with correct seals AGAIN to complete we te rebuild of old calipers. Seems like their pad kts need some quality inspections. Just my opinion
