The first indication of microbial contamination is mucous-like accumulations on fuel-filters and increased requirements for fuel-filter replacement. Microbes can only be removed from the fuel system by use of a diesel fuel biocide.

Been using Power Service Bio-Kleen biocide for years now and a little goes a long way I might add.. In all the years I've used it, I've never had any issues with algae in my tractors or my 500 gallon bulk storage tank, ever.Keep in mind that Power Service Bio-Kleen is the only algaecide that carries the required MSDS warning label, the only one and if there is no MSDS warning label on the others, their claim to be a biocide is false.Shipping was quick as well and it was well packaged too.

I am using this more as a preventative, so I do not have empirical evidence regarding its effectiveness. I am pleased with it, and have no problems.

I have a John Deere diesel skid steer. I have put hundreds of dollars into it and it still kills then will not start again. I purchased this product used it according to the pkg directions. The skid steer now runs, never kills and I haven't had to put any more money into it. I WILL be keeping this product in my farm workshop.

I have a John Deere 1025R. I service every 200 hours per mfg direction. This service includes changing both fuel filters. After my last service my tractor began to sputter after 10 hours use. I checked and replaced the floorboard filter. It ran fine for another 10 hours and then began to sputter again. This time I changed the filter again and added a cap full of Bio Kleen. I have since put 30 hours on the machine with no more problems. Bio Kleen works!

My Diesel motor home sits for 6 months while we winter in Florida. Because Bio Fuel has now been introduced and mixed with our diesel fuel, on my last winter stay, my fuel created bugs, yes bugs, just like fruit flies and they caused us to break down just 300 miles into our initial trip heading west out of Florida. The mobile mechanic advised I had a clogged primary filter. He replaced the filter and $585 later we were back on the road. He advise that the clog was due to Algae that had grown in the tank and recommended I start using a diesel fuel treatment sold by Power Service. So I bought some and put it in my tank. We traveled to Bay Saint Louis Mississippi just about 150 miles from where we broke down and I pulled my primary fuel filter cartridge to check its status and it was almost clogged again. I went on line to investigate my problem and then called Power Service to ask them if they could shed some light on my Algae problem. It was their expert who explained that my problem wasn't an Algae growth problem and that was I had were bugs living in my fuel tank. He explained that what I was seeing was bug poop and that was what was clogging my filter. He explained that I needed to kill the bugs and recommended their Bio Kleen which would actually kill the bugs. Its been a long fight but with their Bio Kleen and the Clear Diesel product I avoided having to have my tank pulled and cleaned and last check the bugs are gone.
