  • OVERLOAD PROTECTION & BUZZER ALARM: In voltage mode, the Tester will display overvoltage warning when voltage exceeds 61VDC. The LCD will display “OL”, red LED light on. In current mode, If the current is too high, the LCD will display “OL”, buzzer alarm. When the current exceeds 8A, the tester will automatically disconnect to protect the circuit to reduce unnecessary losses. The disconnection time varies with the load current.

  • WARNING:

  1. The tester power supply voltage between 5 to 36VDC, and the probe test voltage from 1 to 60VDC.
  2. Do not use the tester for all AC voltage supplies or AC voltage test.
  3. The tester is used only when the power supply is less than 36VDC and the test voltage is less than 60VDC.

  • POWER SWITCH:

  1. Press the “power switch” to position ( – ). The indicator LED light on the tester is red, indicating that the probe outputs positive voltage and the LCD displays the current battery voltage.
  2. Press the “power switch” to position (=). The indicator LED light on the tester is green, indicating that the probe outputs negative voltage, the LCD displays , and the buzzer alarms.

You need one for every tool box you own. Works great for troubleshooting trailer lights and really any 12 volt automotive wiring and there really cheap.

I wish I had this test tool forty years ago twelve volt power at the tip. positive and negative indication along with battery voltage and amperage.
