I liked the look of this substantial kitchen implement right away.Having it in hand is even better- it has a decent heft you won't find in the plastic-handled dollar store items.The handle length is generous and doesn't give any indication of weakness at all.If you do a lot of MASHING of different foods I believe has an adequate number of holes for any I've experienced.This purchase should be one that will last - possibly something of practical value that will be passed down.

My Mom used to make mashed potatoes manually, so on her behalf I am giving this 5 stars as she has been able to make them much faster and easier. The tool itself is strong, doesn't feel flimsy and feels well built from good materials. It was easy to make a big batch of mashed potatoes with this.

I bought this stainless steel potato masher last month, and I love how strong it feels in my hands! The long handle makes it easy for me to mash a big pot of potatoes without hurting my wrist. I've used it for making guacamole and smashing beans too, which saved me time in the kitchen. When I'm done, I just put it in my dishwasher and it comes out perfectly clean every time. My favorite part is hanging it on my kitchen wall where I can reach it easily - it looks nice and saves me drawer space!

This smasher is replacing a "brand name" smasher that warped/bent after a few uses. This one is the complete opposite: very well built and sturdy. It also has a nice touch of ergonomics and design. Overall, if you're looking for a good, sturdy and great looking smasher, you should consider this one.

For a better price than you can get a serious potato masher at another store, you can get this long-handled baby and make your job so much easier. Not only is this masher really hefty and strong, but between the long handle and the fact that the masher part is pretty sharp and therefore does a really good job at mashing, you probably can't find a better hand masher. After several decades of mashing potatoes with a hand masher, this is definintely my favorite by far!

This is an excellent masher. Long handle and very heavy duty. To me it's not as easy to use as the weave or s shaped masher because the holes are small and you really have to work to get potatoes in there. It does a great job just takes alittle longer but the potatoes are smoother. I put it in the dishwasher to clean but cleaning in the sink would be easy also.

I wasn't expecting the handle on this masher to be as long as it is but it allows you to use two hands to mash/smash the hardest of foods. It seems to be solid and durable. The handle is thick and the stainless steel masher is not thin, by any means. Therefore, you don't have to worry about it bending or breaking on some of the harder foods. I got this for potato mashing and it works very well. There aren't any sharp areas on it so there are no worries about kids getting hurt with it. I also like that it's dishwasher safe.
