Item worked great for 3 weeks, then would only recharge but not cut on. It was used by our 5-month old Springer Spaniel, so was not under ‘heavy use’ or by large dog, as warned by the original description. By the time the item quit working, it was outside Amazon’s return window. Not sure what happened to the item to make it stop working (e.g., hard use, poor quality, etc.). The item was very effective at keeping our puppy entertained, we just wish it lasted longer.

Just received our ball last night and we LOVE it! I have a 3 yr old Rottweiler/Australian Shepherd and recently got a pibble puppy. They play rough, but the R/AS poops out sooner than the puppy. This ball keeps them both occupied and helps with the puppy afterwards. It twirls and spins just as advertised and makes a cheeping sound if left alone to get their attention again. I was afraid it would be annoying to us, but the sound is just enough for me to hear it. Love, love, love!!

We have 4 year old Maltese who is very playful. Unfortunately I came down with arthritis in both knees a few years ago and cant give our pup the exercise and play he needs and deserves. We have had this tour for 5 days now and he is still enjoying it.However I do have two issues with it.1) It is quite heavy, about 10 ounces. If have ever seen a ‘ratter’ dog (a dog that will shake small pray to death) violently shake his toys you would understand this. So far he has not done this with this toy, but Im a bit afraid that if he does he might injure himself or do some damage. Also, because of its weight - dont throw it at him. It could do some real injury.2) Because they toy does wander on its own. It can de difficult to find. At this price point ($30) it should have some kind of locator function built in. Since it wont be going far a simple bluetooth program should suffice. Ie make the toy beep. But overall it is a very good toy. I (and the dog) really like the way it varies its routine on its own so the dog does not get bored.I did have to block som areas like under the couch and chairs, and keeping a ‘grabber’ device to retrieve it has helped.

Wonderful product, keeps our puppy very busy, unfortunately discharges very quickly. It would be awesome for this product to run a bit longer, but I think 30 minutes of continuous play, and it needs charging again.

My 13 week old puppy loves loves loves this toy. It was delivered almost two weeks ago and he plays with it everyday for at least an hour, sometimes more. The variety of actions keeps him interested. The toy goes into sleep mode until he is ready to play again. Battery life is great and charges up really quickly.

We have an Aussie-poo that shares his life with us. Other Aussie-poo owners will understand what I mean. He is the smartest, cutest, most lovable dog we have ever had. So of course, we have gotten him dog puzzles, smart toys, etc. This by far has been our best purchase. Our dog was cautious at first, but Potaroma is a keeper. It has captured his curiosity and playfulness for minutes at a time. He loves it and carries it around to protect it. Great design.

This is perfect for high energy dogs! My dog loves it and won’t stop playing with it! She chews all of her toys up within the first 5 minutes but this one is such high quality that she still hasn’t been able to destroy it!

This dog toy survived less than 1 day of normal play activity by my 37 lb. 10 month old Border Collie. The bottom button/usb charging input cover was easily torn off by my dog - its "hinge" is just a thin strip of rubber or flexible plastic without any reinforcement. The battery quickly discharges and the toy does nothing of interest to a dog after 15-20 minutes (at most) while taking 2+ hours to recharge. The rounded, hardened base under the rubber exterior makes it unusable for other play activities, unless you enjoy throwing rock hard objects around the house. I suggest you just tie some rope around a real rock and save the cost of this purchase. This has the entertainment value of child's party favor, meaning after an hour or so my dog lost interest in it, like a "one and done" human novelty toy.Not remotely worth the price in my opinion.
