Once in position the belt does not move, which is wonderful. Have only worn it twice so far but it does seem to make my lower back feel better. I am also using it to hold in a large hernia on my left side. (This will be taken care of in a few days) Would definitely recommend this product.

I LOVE this belt. I have been in severe pain for over a year. I came this close to getting my left hip replaced a year ago because the doc and I both thought that was the problem. Turns out the right hip seemed to be the it.Moved in October, still in terrible pain (most days about a 9). Was planning on hip replacement next month until I found THIS. From the moment I put it on I knew it was my SI joint and not my hip.Cutting to the chase, wore it for a week, NO PAIN. Except first thing in the morning when I get up. Can't wear it 24/7. Put it on, pain gone. Got a bit too cocky and on day 8 got cranky because I was wearing the OTHER belt I had bought and it's really uncomfortable. So I decided I was healed enough to go without either belt for just a day. Um. No. 2 days later still whining. This may take a while.The other belt is going to get worn once a week. Hey, it was twice as expensive as this one. I can tough it out for one day a week. But my go-to now is def PostureMagic. Comes in a small, labeled bag with a corded drawstring so when I don't need to wear it I have a nice place to store it.The Posture Magic belt is a little wider (maybe ½ an inch or so) and softer fabric (but still very stretchy) than the other belt. the "velcro" closures are nice and strong. I've had it on today for nearly 8 hours and still feeling comfortably supported. If you have pain in your SI joint, I think you'll find this compression belt is just the thing.

I am adding to my previous review. All of my earlier comments are still true but, the Velcro is becoming very worn and I've only been using the belt around 4 months and not every day or all day. I didn't use it at all for a few weeks during that time. Veclcro isn't very sticky anymore and it comes undone at random rimes. With the amount of use I would think the Velcro would be more durable. Still: Helps my SI joint pain. It stays low enough to support the SI area and I notice that I can move better and bend without pain. Helps me to sit without pain too ! I wear it overnight and it stays put pretty well. I adjust a bit before getting out of bed to be sure it is over the SI joints and this belt has made my mornings much better! It is comfortable too and could be worn under clothes. Definitely recommend.

I bought this because I am 22 weeks pregnant and struggling with pelvis and SPD pain. I was really skeptical about using a product like this though. I am really sensitive to any pressure on my lower belly/upper groin area, so I didn't think I would be able to tolerate this while sitting. That is when I feel a lot of my pain. I looked for a belt that was more narrow rather than something that would go up my belly and this one seemed to fit. Again, skeptical, so I tried to find a low cost option.It was just delivered today and I immediately put it on. I'm wearing it low on my hips b/c that is where my pain is and the compression was immediately felt. My hips feel supported, like pre-preggo hips! But then I gave it the sit test. Unbelievably, I can sit with this on too! My pain is drastically reduced. I can still feel some of the ache that goes into my legs but hips feel sturdy as a rock. I've been sitting at my desk working for the last hour with the belt on and it's not hurting my lower belly. I haven't been pulling on it or adjusting it or anything. I'm shocked, honestly. My only regret is that I didn't try on of these belts sooner. The price and quality of the belt make this definitely a worth while option. For my preggo ladies, try this if you feel like your hips are falling apart. Any little bit of relief is worth it!!

**Update 2023....STILL LOVE THIS BELT!!!!! Still have tension hip pain intermittently but glad to be able to appu this to help with the pressure and pain to push past any flare-ups.... still a yes for me but actually, ive lost weight a d really need the smaller size. Still holding up like a champ. :) Good luck to ya'all!Original review:To be completely honest I have only worn it once so far. Im an ER nurse and work 12+ hr shifts.. I have been having lower left back pain for a while and the flare-ups have been extremely uncomfortable especially running around all the time. So I decided to get on YouTube and look for some stretches and that's when I came across these belts. So I jumped on Amazon and quickly found lots of these belts with lots of various prices. I wanted one to have good reviews at a reasonable price so I chose this one. I was excited when it arrived and honestly when I wore it, within several minutes I could tell the difference. I talked to my chiropractic about it and she definitely agrees with me that these are helpful, but not to get in the habit of depending on these and wearing them all the time. She is helping with the underlying issue with my back but she does fully agree that this is a useful tool. I did not want to waste my money on the expensive belts...so do not over pay! This one did just fine. Although I did buy the extra larger size because I was afraid that the regular size would be too tight and snug, but really I think this belt is way too big so I have to pull the extra tight. I am approximately 5'7ish 200ish pounds. Anyways I will definitely carry this in my nursing bag so I can throw it on when it is needed. The Chiropractic also suggested to wear it at the beginning of the shift or towards the end of the shift when I especially feel the pain or needed and not to wear it all the time. Its worth a try!
