Its jaws are made of forged steel for increased strength over investment casting, and are tapered for better access in tight spaces. The center bolt has a 1. 12" (28. 5 mm) diameter. The diameter of the center bolt must be at least half the diameter of the shaft along which the object is pulled. This puller has a 12" (305 mm) reach and a spread range of 2. 5 to 18 inches (64 to 457 mm) for increased pulling leverage. This manual puller is suitable for extracting shaft-fitted parts in a range of industries, including automotive, HVAC, wind power, and others.

Man, put an electric impact on this and it'll move the world. Plenty of hands on time with this removing overheated, seized bearings from all kinds of motors and drive shafts. Keep the inner threaded rod lubed with a light oil.
