Our little Leo is one year old. We have been looking for a good quality dog food for the past year. After the vet informed us he needed to gain weight we ordered numerous products. By far this one was the winner. Leo now eats his entire bowl and looks up at us for more. Thank you, thank you for such a great dog food are can give our dog.

This offers different flavors for variety for the dogs. They don’t have to eat the same food all the time.

I love this dog food!! It looks and smells fantastic and my dogs go crazy for it. I love that it’s real food with real ingredients and you can def tell by seeing and smelling, I always warm it like the directions say, for 10-15 sec in microwave, and I just tear off the top and place package right in microwave, so easy. It is pricey, that’s my only issue, not something we can purchase all the time, but I feel like it is worth it for the quality and health of our pets. Hope to see new flavor combinations and deals from this company!!!

It smells like real food and looks like real food. I like that it is sealed in pouches that have a long shelf life. My pup a miniature poodle loved the taste and he is finicky. He is 12 lbs and each pouch is good for 1 and half to 2 days. So the size of pouches are adequate for him.He did have a bit of the runs with a couple of the flavors. I recommend start each one slow and a little bit to make sure your pup can tolerate. The reason I docked it a star is because the meals that have rice I think they go over board on the rice. Making me feel like the rice meals are over priced. Other than that, it's a very good and healthy food.

I thought I’d transition this dog food along with my dog’s kibble. That was a huge mistake! A day after my poor dog ate this food he had the worst case of diarrhea I ever saw. He’s 100% house broken, but the poor guy had several bad accidents in my house after consuming this product. Not nice! Thankfully my dog’s stools normalized in two days after I stopped feeding him this junk. I’m naturally a skeptic when it comes to alternative “good” foods, supplements, and so-called “human grade” pet foods. It’s mostly a pricey marketing gimmick. I know better now than to attempt to feed my dog foods of this caliber.

I use this as a topper for my dogs. It's expensive but my dogs love it.

I live in the Pacific Northwest and have a young rescue dog who is not really food motivated. I have spent money on all kinds of quality commercial dog foods that dogs i owned in the past readily ate, but this one has walked away from or reluctantly eaten (after 36 hours). It is not good for her to starve herself, and although my motto is "They'll eat if they are hungry" I saw her getting skinnier and skinner over time -- for a young dog of about 2.5 years, that's never good. I've had her checked out thoroughly and worked with her to reduce or eliminate phobias and behaviors she picked up as a street puppy. So after months of trial and error with those pricey national brands of wet and dry foods, I found the Portland Pet Food company. Like some of the other 'national' brands of pouched meals (hello Farmer, Ollie, and the like) Portland Pet Food is human grade meat, some kind of starch (potato, rice, yams or pumpkin) and one or two other vegetables like green beans and carrots. NO weird spices (one of the brands included cinnamon!) and very little added moisture, unlike brands that rely on 'gravy' to look appealing to the hoomans. So now I scoop a quarter cup of high-end kibble and a third of a pouch of Portland Pet Food into her bowl, give it a stir, and she's ready to scarf it down. She's still food bowl shy, a psychological scar she picked up at the massive dog rescue facility where she was placed with 70 other rescues on a ranch, but since I switched over to a different food twice a day, this little gal is progressing in a healthy way... and one day I can even dream of training her for Agility or Therapy.

The packets have a variety of different flavors, however my dogs did not really like any of them. They are very picky eaters. They do not like Just Food for Dogs either. But these are such small packets that one doesn’t even feed two 15 lb dogs. So I think it’s a bit overpriced. It lasted 4 days. And I had to mix it with chicken I had made.On the plus side they easily fit into my refrigerator.

The food seems very good in terms of ingredients but my 4m old puppy got ill when she tried the chicken meal. She vomited and started a diaria with blood on the stool. I will wait a while until i consider again
