I did 4 stars because it meets and doesn't exceed expectations. It works great on thicker knit products and not on thinner/shaggier ones as the product details say. We have 3 cats in the carpeted areas, had a dog, and always at least one cat since early 2010s. I knew no vacuum was getting all the animal hair, especially with a Maine Coon Cat. I got some hair in the areas the cats don't frequent and way more than expected in their favorite spots on the floor. I got way more hair than I thought possible from their blankets. I can now wash their favorite blankets without just spreading the cat hair around. I recommend this if you have the right textured surfaces to use this on like thick carpets, cat trees, heated blankets, and those kinds of things.

This does not work on my carpet, which is a patterned Berber. It got stuck & pulled at the fibers & I was unable to brush it through as intended to clean so I am returning. The teeth are very short & tight as a warning. Maybe it would work on other types of carpet.

Warning: Really does snag on tiny threads and really will damage your fabric!I have a husky and the fur battle is real. It worked best on minky blankets and my microfiber couch. (Go with the grain of the fabric, and very gently!)Don’t use this on your clothes and your good blankets, because it pulls threads and will ruin them. It’s impossible to use on rugs, car interiors/carpet, or anything with a texture because it will snag. I’m always seeing videos of them using these on rugs, and as much as my little heart wanted to believe it would work that way, it doesn’t.You’re better off getting a silicone brush. (They’re not perfect, but work 1000% better than these.)I’m only giving it two stars because it works ok with the dog hair on the couch and a couple of my most used blankets.

This lint cleaner does more than one thing:It easily removes pet hair from clothes, carpets, and the seats in your car.... AND takes care of the little fabric "pills" that sometimes show up on clothing. It is easy to use, cleans easily, and there is no wasteful adhesive pieces to discard. It comes in a 2-pack to share or to keep in different places.

UPDATE:It’s a good product but it does tend to pull fabric in the couch. Yes, I was a bit aggressive with it so be careful. It really does get the hair just be careful not to do it so hard. Before I bought this, I read so many of the reviews. For those who says it’s rusty, it’s not. The metal that picks up the lint is painted and can give off the color of rust, but it’s not rust.I was shocked when I did my couch. We have two Maine coon cats who leave fur everywhere. All I can say is WOW! When you use the tool, it sounds like it’s ripping the fabric but it’s not.I also used it for my car seats…VERY satisfying. You won’t be disappointed.

Did great on my area rug, but it did snag my sofa unfortunately. Also the handle broke on first use. But I could put it back in.

I have a dyson so this is really not necessary. But I do have a dog that scares easy and when she’s around I whip this little baby out and it works on all the surfaces. It is incredibly manual and slow. So honestly I suggest you buy a real vacuum. But I also put one of these in my car and I have to say it works best on car mats and trunks and floors - incredibly efficient and fast on that type of surface. 10/10 would recommend. But again don’t use this on a giant bed cover or something bc that will take a millennia.
