While the triggers worked for the back sensor pad, the overall build is really cheap. Opening the box I noticed that one of the clips that holds the thing together was broken on the right side which was very disappointing. For the price it's okay but in terms of comfort, it is very uncomfortable. The appearance of it also is all cheap plastic so it could use better grip and texture on the controller grips. It also is very very hard to take off of the PS vita once applied. Overall I feel like I wasted money and will need to buy a better grip.

Had to buy a second one because I dropped it like a foot from the ground and it broke In half so quality is horrible but it is nice for the grip.My second one also broke with only a few uses , don't waist your money on this crap.

1. Screen Protector applies like the PS VITA 2000 screen, it covers the entire face not just the screen itself.2. Rear protector is amazing, once install, you peel a layer on top that makes it matte, think paperlike for the back, it feels great to touch.3. Lil thumb stick rubbers, weird as they are all different types, be sure to apply out side of the cover, it is a pain to do it once the cover on.4. Vita sits in a little loose until you close it. Be very careful of the front clips they are FLUSH with the plastic so take a sec and use a small tool to open, do not force anything, if you feel force you went too far.5. Once in, it is tight, it feels great, it is that matte feeling plastic. Will it last long I'm not sure, over time I'm sure it will try out.6. Triggers are excellent, a little large, the R1 & L1 are so small then these large triggers but they work! I played GOW 1, you rely on triggers to open chests, save and to use your magic, they work perfectly. As you see by the pics, looks real batman like, PS VITA is a happy lil console, protect these aging consoles! they are amazing fun! I decided to spring for this grip for my PCH-1101 Vita specifically to make remote play feel more comfortable, and this does a pretty decent job of that. The fit is snug, especially when you put on the included front and back screen protectors. The triggers barely have any resistance. I would have preferred a slight bit of resistance, but if you prefer hair trigger, this works. The construction is all plastic, and it does feel pretty cheap, though once it's on the Vita, it's not that big of a deal. It's held in place by 4 clips: 2 on the bottom, 1 on the left, and 1 on the right. They feel like they could break easily, so be gentle trying to open it (I slid one of my nails under to pop them off, then to put it back on, gently press on the left and right clips until you hear a "click", and repeat with the bottom clips). I'd also be very careful not to drop your Vita, since I could see the clips popping open with enough force. The triggers also use the kind of plastic you might find in a bargain bin generic controller, but are acceptable. If they can be removed without destroying the case, maybe nicer ones could be 3D printed for it.Extras in the box include a screen protector for the front and back (which went on without much issue and the bubbles came out easily), and multiple analog stick covers with various grips, which can be a bit tricky to get on, but do help make using them feel better. The grip overall feels good and works better for remote play stuff. I do wish the grips at the bottom stuck out a bit more (see the 8Bitdo controller for comparison), but it's still way more comfortable than trying the claw grip the Vita to avoid accidental touch inputs.Minor gripes are that the Start and Select buttons can be slightly more difficult to press due to being recessed inside the plastic, but it's not that big a deal. Also, the power and volume buttons are near the hinges that close the faceplate over the Vita, so those are a bit more awkward to press. Also, the price is kinda high for the build quality, considering you can get full controllers for around $40-50.In conclusion, there's unfortunately not a lot of optipns for Vita 1000 grips with triggers in 2023, and while the build quality isn't the greatest, it's still a solid get for remote play. Plus, the screen protectors and analog stick covers are a nice bonus.
