I scared myself with this when I opened it lol. It quite literally pops up into shape super fast. I’m really glad the instructions to put it back into a small shape were included. The booth comes with 4 filters that I almost threw out by accident because they looked like packaging supplies lol. This was so useful to me. I don’t have a well-ventilated space but I love making my own planters. After I’m done painting them though I want to seal them with some spray sealant and I can’t really do that inside. I hated doing it outside though because inevitably I would always end up with tiny pieces of grass and other bits on my finished product. This has been a game-changer. I already sealed so many planters and none of them have any add-ons by nature lol. I did put a lazy Suzan inside though because it's very tight and there’s not much space to get to the back of an item to spray it.

This arrived in its own product box. Inside the box along with the tent were 4 filters that were stuffed into the corners (I initially thought this was part of the packaging) and printed instructions. The pop up "tent" was folded in its own envelope. As soon as I took the tent out of this small envelope it leaped out and gave me a fright. The wires on the tent are quite thick and due to the size I did struggle to fold it back up but after several tries I did managed to get it back in the envelope. I did notice that once open this tent isn't quite a square the shape is a little off and it doesn't seem to sit well. I tried to show in my picture of how the tent does not sit straight and has a twist on it. I am not sure if this will eventually work itself out and I have a feeling this will not correct itself. I do like the design of this tent. I particularly like how you can attach a box fan on the back as an exhaust. The price is around the expected range for a tent such as this. I do feel it is only fair to give this a 3 star rating taking my the points that I have mentioned into account.

The CooTentler Pop Up Paint Booth is a fantastic solution for my painting projects! It’s incredibly easy to set up—just pop it open, and it’s ready to use in seconds. Folding it back up is just as simple, and it stores away compactly, making it perfect for small spaces.The 17x17x17 inch size is just right for painting models, small furniture pieces, and small auto parts without taking up too much room. I appreciate the mesh door and window design, which provide good ventilation while keeping dust and debris out of my workspace.Overall, this portable airbrush spray tent is a well-designed and practical addition to my crafting tools. This small portable paint spray tent comes inside a zipped handled round bag, measuring 8-1/4" in diameter and 1-3/4" thick, which is made of similar fabric material to the tent. Outside of the bag, there are also some wadded-up stuffing in the four corners the bag and some instructional sheets stapled together. Do not throw out the stuffing, like I did, as it turns out these are actually the blue paint filters that slide into the mesh pocket. After unzipping the portable bag, the tent will easily want to pop open, so be prepared. It is amazing how compact it is and then seeing it fully open.I like the drawstring port on the back, so I can tighten it around the duct fan. The tent sat a little lopsided initially but was better after adjusting it and use. The zipper is a little tight in a couple of spots, but it is workable. This is a nice little paint spray tent for spraying some objects and I even have used it for exhausting some other DIY epoxy projects. The real magic comes in trying to fold and twist back up for storage, which I had to read the instructions and watch the video a couple of times and still took me a few minutes to get right.

I have a full-sized popup paint tent that I use for large items, but often I need to spray paint something smaller and don't want to go through the whole process of setting up the larger tent. This 17" tent is the perfet size for painting objects up to about the size of a basketball.It's also very easy to set up. once you take it out of its little pouch, it will spring open — even if you don't want to, maybe (the spring is QUITE strong).Also, the tent comes with fittings for circular-fan and box-fan exhaust use, meaning you can use the tent in areas where you need to protect air quality.Popup tents are sometimes a little confusing to fold up until you get the trick. The manufacture has included a step-by-step guide for folding the tent, and following it carefully works like a charm. One note: The spring is VERY strong, and if you lose your grip during the folding process, it IS going to jump out of your hands.Recommended

Feels very sturdy. The wires are thick. Comes with four air filters that are crammed in each corner of the box. Don't throw those away like I almost did during unboxing. I thought they were just weird packagingI can’t fold this back up to store away in the small carrying case that it arrived in. I knew Id have that problem though. It’s a me issue, not a product issue. I can never fold these type of “spring” products away correctly.This comes with a strap to hook it to a box fan to extract fumes or you can attach to a inline fan.The size is a good size. I usually paint small things like a tumbler or smaller. You could paint things a little larger though.This does not come with a rotating table/lazy susan as shown in the first photo of the product.Fabric feels like a nice quality that will hold up decently. Has a plastic window on the top and the plastic is a good thick vinyl that should hold up fine folding and putting this awayIm glad I got this and will get a lot of use out of it.
