Do not buy & don’t waste your time! This is nothing but plastic junk, garbage, cheap and leaks at all seams and connectors.

The item didn't come with instructions so I had to figure it out on my own. Some of the holes were big enough for the screws, but I was still able to get all the screws in with a drill screwdriver. I do love the item though. Even without instructions it didn't take long to assemble and so far it is working great. I've had the more expensive ones with the teak wood platform and post with soap holder, etc. and it was very heavy to move. This is lightweight, even with the base full of water.

This outdoor shower is unique in that there is a second waterspout for washing off your feet. I haven't seen any other outdoor shower with a showerhead for full body rinsing and a separate spout for just rinsing off your feet which is terrific. It was easy to assemble with predrilled holes to screw in small screws that came with the shower except for the first connection to the base. When I turned on the water hose, that connection quickly separated. There was an extra screw, so I just drilled a small hole myself and then it worked perfectly with no leaks.

Nice shower for outside, easy installation and setup. The on/off valves are poorly built. My lower valve broke off after just a few months the upper valve is hard to turn and about ready to snap.

Easy, in fact fun to assemble. There are 6 screws that have to tap plastic, recommend an electric drill to start them off, then finish with hand-held screwdriver. Directions called for filling base with gravel or sand, but somewhat lazily I used water. If that fails in some way, I will update my review. If you are in the market for this, which we will used to clean up after returning from our lovely beach in Englewood Fl, on the Gulf of Mexico, do not hesitate!

Much like the most recent reviews I received a product with a push/pull locking hose connector (orange in color) that would not connect to either a female or male end of a standard garden hose. As Amazon reviews are always a great source of knowledge I scoured the postings in hope that I was somehow missing an extra part and/or confirmation that I wasn't suddenly afflicted with a loss of common sense. Seeing that the only solution certain people found was to cut the pvc as well as the hose I decided to contact the company direct and see what the heck was going on.After a quick internet search I located the Outdoor Lamp Company web site and called the number on site. Imagine my surprise when I wasn't automatically directed to an answering service but was answered by a live human being on the other end. And as this was a Sun afternoon I was blown away when Frank quickly introduced himself as the owner of the company.I explained that I was having some difficulty with the assembly and as I began to explain my problems with the hose connection it quickly became evident that what I was describing was NOT a piece that he was familiar with. He then gave me his personal cell and I sent some quick pics so he could see what I and apparently a lot of recent orders were dealing with. After receiving the pics Frank assured me that this was not part of his product design. Apparently one of his distributers took it upon themselves to substitute different pieces without his knowledge. Needless to say the man was less than happy and thanked me for bringing it to his attention.I told him that I was happy to help and would return the product to Amazon for an exchange . As he did not know how long it would take to get the proper products where they belong he instead took it upon himself to ship me a new product direct at no cost to myself. Just so he could have evidence of what Amazon was shipping I sent what I received to him as well. I'm happy to say that what I received in exchange is an excellent product that does exactly what it is advertised to do. 5 stars for the shower and 5+ for Frank and the Outdoor Lamp Company.

This is a good product. I bought it to use for one summer since we're currently living in a house that doesn't have an outdoor shower. When I first got it, I have to admit I looked at it and thought "sheesh, I could make it for a fraction of what it cost," but for once I decided to just go with it and am glad I did. It's well thought out, the foot spigot is very convenient for getting sand off after the beach and using just cold water to wash off during the summer months isn't an issue. And realistically, there are a number of parts that aren't readily available at the hardware store. It's priced well for the quality and what it does.Even though I live in a very windy area, I haven't filled the base so to retain the portability. When it's attached to the hose, it doesn't topple over. It's light enough and not that bulky that I could see using this with a popup tent camper.I've never done any plumbing at all, but I thought it was quick and easy to put together - it took maybe 10 minutes. Just be careful that everything is glued well (they even include the glue). I didn't do a great job gluing the first time and then missed one of the joints the second. It pops off like a pipe rocket when the water is flowing, which is hilarious except at the moment it happens. Now that operator error has been corrected, it performs well. Even though my new home will have an installed outdoor shower, I'm going to keep it as a second shower.
