During this winter it was very cold and I didn't want to go out and backwash my pool filter even though my filter pressure had been backing up throughout the winter and was too high. Sure enough, when it finally warmed up enough to go out and backwash the filter, I noticed DE shooting out into the pool. The brittle plastic frames of the filter grids had probably been crushed under the high pressure. They lasted for 9 years so I figured I had gotten a good investment and decided to purchase this full new set instead of messing around with one or two. I hope these last me another 9 years at least. The quality is very good and they fit right in no problems in my Purex Triton Nautilus FNS 48 square foot shell. Since it had been 9 years since I last did this, I initially forgot about how much easier it is to fit the grids into the manifold if you do them upside with the manifold on the ground! Hope this tip helps someone out, otherwise this can be a frustrating experience hah!

Perfect fit for my Hayward system. Much more expensive to buy this at the pool store. Installation was ok but not any harder than the name brand. Just had to follow the instructions carefully. Will definitely order again when needed.

Our swimming pool cartridges were old and falling apart and not being able to filter the water properly. These did the job! Our swimming pool water is crystal clear again, exactly what we needed. Just need to measure the cartridges before ordering to make sure your getting the right size. Good quality, highly recommend.

This set of filters were a perfect fit on my 20 yr old Hayward DE2420 model that is discontinued. The description for this product doesn't list compatibility with that old model, but the filter elements were an exact match! Hayward wouldn't respond to my emails and no phone number was listed, so I just winged it and hoped it would fit and it does! I mainly based the fit on the measurement of each element 24” tall x 11” wide, however if you measure the curved width its more like 18” wide.

Fit my Hayward de filter perfectly but quickly became wrapped after just a few weeks. Amazon was great and sent a replacement and so far they are holding up great. The first set was probably faulty.

quality was better than expected because the price was so reasonable. within hours of installation my water was crystal clear and DE leftover from old grid vacuum up and never returned.
