Works well for our saline pool. It came with good instructions, so set up was straightforward. Seems to be accurate according to our water test drops. We’ll keep an eye out on the readings for a while and see if it continues to read accurately, and will update if it seems off.

I have a large in-ground pool, and for the longest time, I wished I had an easy way to check the water temperature. I did not even know devices like this existed! This solar-powered chlorine floater does more than just hold " chlorine tablets—it doubles as a temperature monitor, giving me real-time readings. The solar-powered design is brilliant, and to my surprise, it even works outside the water. It is functional, stylish, and makes pool maintenance a lot more convenient. Highly recommended.

I got this pool salt tester floating pool thermometer because I wanted another means of checking my pool salt level. My salt cell is acting up and the salt reading is inaccurate. The temperature reading is accurate. I compared it to an old school glass tube mercury filled thermometer and they read the same. The salt reading was the same as another digital salt reader I had. The unit is a little larger and deeper than other floating thermometers I owned. The digital display is small. The unit updates every two minutes.Overall, I am happy with the thermometer.

I already have an electronic salinity tester for my koi pond, but it does require me to fetch a sample of water from my pond to get a reading.I really like this floating salinity tester because I can get a good reading of the salinity level. My hand-held salinity tester has a calibration process that I've completed recently, so I'm fairly confident I'm getting an accurate reading from that one. This floating salinity doesn't seem to have a calibration option, but from just taking it out of the box and putting it in my pond, it's giving readings that are fairly close to my recently calibrated tester. Now anytime I just go out to feed my fish I can a good indication of the pond's salinity level after a rainstorm or water change without having to hassle with water samples.

We like the Pool Salt Tester from the UIUZMAR Store. It went into our in-ground saltwater pool right out of the box in the middle of winter and has consistently performed well for weeks now. It's nice to have a device that is so easy to use. There is no wi-fi or Bluetooth to fuss with, just a happy yellow floating meter that gives you a direct report. You just have to get close enough to read the screen. We compared the accuracy of the salt tester to another tool we have on hand. The variance is small, so we feel confident about the numbers. We like the quality of materials, the ease of use, and the nice appearance.

This item wasn’t packaged very well. The box seal was broken, and the item itself wasn’t wrapped in plastic and there was no clear vinyl cover over the display so I’m thinking it may have been used and redistributed. Otherwise, it seems to be made well enough. I really can’t test it out until next spring when the pool is opened. If it works it will be great to know the salt levels in the pool at a glance instead of doing the intricate testing with the water sample and counting the drops of solution. I’ll update this review if there’s anything that needs mentioning. For now, just 4 stars speaks to thenPossible used condition of the meter.

With a salt pool or spa, it's important to keep track of the salt levels, especially if the water levels change. This will be very helpful since my chlorinator built in measurer seems to not be as accurate or something. Between the two, I think it'll help.

Easy to use, when I powered it on, i did have to reboot it power it off then back on and the reading was good. After a day in the pool, the reading is improved. Salt readings fluctuate. But when tested against both pool stores, the reading is quite close. The temperature is spot on with other thermometers i have in the pool.My only con was it tends to flip on its side so I have to tip it back upright.
