Because whoever thought it was a good idea to shove a bottle of solution INSIDE the powder bottle is truly a genius. It’s an absolute mess to use. Further they want you to use the entire product with one sitting and don’t give instructions for the ability to only use a portion of it. Get something else. Way too expensive for a crappy product.

Sevaral comments said it was difficult to use. Since (like many) I didn't want to mix the whole amount I carefully weighed and measured the amounts according to the directions. No problem: went on smoothly and seems to be holding up well two weeks later.It's a two part system, and the second part is in a separate container but wholly inside the larger tub, and buried in the powder. This confused me at first.

Easy to use but a bit messy with the powder. I applied it to the top edge of the wall between pool and hot tub. Edge of grout line. A thin layer where some of the grout had fallen loose. Seemed to be working but only applied it today.It's very white. I used a small amount so I guessed at how much of the liquid I needed. I actually mixed to much for the job and wasted a lot of it. I would but this stuff again.It was easy and dried fast.
